When I went looking for Thor today, I found him juggling his hammer and two umbrellas. He told me he’s getting ready for the April showers that should be heading along soon, bringing May flowers in their wake. And of course, he insisted I help speed things along by finding some good rain memes. I looked far and wide, folks, but they aren’t nearly as common as dogs and cats, and these were the best I could find. Here’s hoping you get a smile or two, anyway. π
We desperately need rain here, so send it over!

In all honestly, we are in a dry spell, too, Olga, and when we finally got a bit of rain yesterday, we were celebrating! We still need more, though, so I’m crossing my fingers. Trouble with Florida is, it’s ALWAYS either drought or monsoon! π π π
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you get some rain, soon. π β€

We have a day of peace after torrential downpours and gales for the last three days. But itβs cold again β¦ more like winter than spring. Love the rain jokes, Marcia. Hugs π€ππ

Glad you enjoyed the jokes, Harmony, and I’m sorry you’ve had gales for days. Why is there never a happy medium, I wonder? π However, it is NOT cold here. We’ve had temps in the 90s already, though the last couple of days have been much nicer, in the mid-70s and breezy. And we finally got a few showers, though we need more. Weather. Can’t live with it, can’t live witho … wait. That makes absolutely no sense at all. Nevermiiiiiind. πππ
Thanks for stopping by, my friend, and I do hope spring finally arrives for you. π β€

Glad you enjoyed them, Jeanne. Thor gave me his thumbs up, too, so I guess if both you and the God of Thunder are happy with these rain memes, my work here is done!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, and here’s wishing you sunny skies ahead!

Those were a lot of fun, Marcia. I especially loved the kitty cats.
Stay dry down there!

We’ve been plenty dry, Mae. Alas, we are in dire need of more rain, but as I mentioned above, in Florida, it’s always either drought or monsoon. We just aren’t a “happy medium” kinda place, I reckon. We finally got a few scattered showers over the last day or two, but not nearly as much as the parched ground needs. (A happy medium would be nice for a change, but we’ll take what we can get.)
Hope your weather suits you to a tee, my friend, and thanks so much for stopping by! π β€

Oh, I thought downpours were headed your way. It sounds like you could use a few of them. Dry seems to be the pattern right now. We have fire warnings in my area which is rare.

They keep hinting at rain, Mae, but we’ve only had a couple of showers in the last day or two. Now south Florida (around Ft. Lauderdale) got hammered and had some flooding, but our yard is parched. Why is it always feast or famine with these things, I wonder? π
I’d rather have rain than fire, though. I’ll be thinking about you and praying nothing like that comes your way! β€

I do actually love strolling in the warm summer rain. Thanks for the chuckles, Marcia!

Glad you enjoy that, Nancy. I mostly enjoy watching the rain from inside, while I stay dry, but I imagine a stroll in it could have a certain appeal. Again, when we finally get rain, it tends to be of the torrential, blowing sideways and flooding streets variety, so down here, strolling might be a bit harder. π
You’re welcome for the chuckles, and thanks for stopping by today! π β€

Ha! Ha! Marilyn Monroe saving the day brought a chuckle, along with the others. Good ones, Marcia! We have rain predicted here tomorrow.

Glad you enjoyed this one, Jan, and I loved Marilyn, too. I remember when the photo that inspired that statue was taken. (Man, I’m older than dirt! π²) Hope your rain is a good one, and not a terrible storm nor a useless drizzle.
Thanks for stopping by today and taking time to let me know you enjoyed these!

The overpass and Marilyn Monroe memes cracked me up! We had a huge storm pass through here yesterday and the day before. My neighborhood was almost under water. The county north of us cancelled schools today because too many streets were flooded. Crazy! Thanks for the laughs, Marcia!

You are very welcome for the laughs, Yvette, and I hope your serious storms are over, now. We need more rain, but we can ALL do without those violent storms and possible flooding. And I loved both of those memes, too. The expression on the overpass one is wonderful!
Thanks for stopping by and taking a moment to say hello. π β€

I agree we need the rain, but I, too, would rather it be spread out in small sessions over torrential rainstorms. π

BTW, I saw pics of the flooding in the Lauderdale area. I hate when that happens! Here’s hoping for gentle rains and LOW winds going forward! π β€

I’ll send you return wishes that your halt in rain and/or snow lasts for a while, and accept your wishes that our rain returns (in a reasonable amount). π And thanks so much for stopping by and taking a moment to say hello, Denise! π β€

Glad you got some chuckles, Teri. We FINALLY got a good, slow soaking last night, rather than a short torrential downpour, which tends to run off into the streets and down down the drains before it can do any real good at all. It appears to be clearing up a bit outside, now, but everything looks much greener out there than it has for the last few weeks. Yay!
Thanks for stopping by and taking a moment to say hello! π β€
