Privacy Policy and GDPR Compliance

Dear TWS Visitors,

Any cookies on my website are used to ensure normal website functions. (For instance, YouTube videos won’t work without their own identifiers.) The bad news is, these cookies cannot be switched off because the website wouldn’t work properly anymore. The GOOD news is, these identifiers do not store any personal data.

When you leave a comment on this blog, WordPress does automatically store your gravatar name, IP Address, comment, and email address. Therefore, leaving a comment is considered a clear affirmative, specific, and unambiguous action as defined by the GDPR giving me consent to store this information, and permission to contact you in the future by email. (But don’t be alarmed. Using emails in this manner is something I’ve never done in all my years of blogging–even though legally, I could–nor is it something I’m interested in doing in the future.)

MOST IMPORTANTLY, your personal information will not be sold or shared with any third parties under any circumstances. However, this information shall be retained until you unsubscribe or ask me to remove your data. If you do not consent to the above, please do not leave  comments on this blog.

For any additional information on how WordPress stores and uses your data, please  check out their policies HERE.

Thank you.
Marcia
