Thor is doing his happy dance today, and believe me, it’s quite a sight to behold! He’s delighted that winter is officially here, since–as a Norse god–he appreciates it more than any other season. Yep. He loves snow, though I confess, images of him going sledding or building a snowman just make me snicker. Please don’t tell him I said that, though. He does wield a mighty big hammer, after all. Instead, join me today as I share a whole bunch of icy and snowy memes for your viewing pleasure. (And his.)

Those are all chuckle-worthy! You have to smile when you see Bob Ross (I know you were lucky enough to spend painting time with him), and I’ve picked up a couple of new ideas for snowmen that I’ll pass on to the younger members of the family. Many thanks, Marcia!

Glad you enjoyed these, Trish, and yep … Bob Ross came to my house once (largely because another tv artist, Brenda Harris, was staying with me for a couple of days. I’ll never forget that he was EXACTLY the same man you saw on his show. He came in the front door, and said hello “Little Ladies” and headed straight for my back porch to see the parrots he heard calling. It was a fun day!
Thanks so much for stopping by today and taking a moment to let me know you got some chuckles. Have a great ThorsDay, my friend! π β€

Brilliant, Marcia π Love these, especially the angry BBQ and the sad jeep!

So glad you enjoyed them, Cathy, and I agree on the your choices. Alas, we don’t get a chance to make funny snow faces on anything down here. Sand just doesn’t work as well.π
Thanks for stopping by and here’s to a great ThorsDay ahead! π β€

Glad you got some laughs, Jeanne, and years ago, I spent enough time “up north” to agree with that first one, too. Thanks for stopping by today, and here’s to a super rest of your ThorsDay! π β€

Very funny, Marcia, I love the angry faces on the Jeep and BBQ!
I haven’t started break dancing yet, but we’re in a winter wonderland here in the Alps in Italy. Very lovely it is too!

Glad you enjoyed them, Jackie, and if you find a sheet of ice on the sidewalk anywhere, be sure your hubby has his camera ready! I’d pay BIG BUCKS to see that! πππ

So much fun, Marcia. I used to say I love watching winter from Texas, but we have had some spells of our own, so I keep my mouth shut.

Glad you enjoyed them, John, and I know just what you mean about watching from Texas (or in my case, Florida). But now and then, we get a bit of a surprise. Today, it was only 46 degrees when I woke up, so while not snow or ice, it wasn’t SHORTS weather, and I had to run the heat for about 15 minutes to take the chill off. It might be cool tomorrow, too … or it might be up near 90 again, but that’s what makes it interesting, eh?
Thanks for stopping by and hope you are safe from frostbite or chilblains, at least for today! π β€

We are having lows in the 40s as well. Next week it goes to 30s Yuck.

I do hope it doesn’t drop that low here, mostly because it kills half of the gardens in the area when it does. Ours is still not back to what it was before Hurricane Irma, but I don’t want to lose what we do have, so I’ll be hoping it stays ABOVE freezing. Good luck in your area! π β€

Ha! Ha! Love all of these, Marcia. While I often wished I lived where there was snow, I’m probably just dreaming of sitting by a fire with no where to go.

Snow is definitely fun at Christmas, Jan. I’ve lived in a couple of northern areas over time, including Alaska, where I spent Christmas when I was twelve, and snow was a big part of it all. BUT … Christmas is fun no matter where you are, once that spirit grabs you, right? So I hope you are enjoying the holiday season with or without those big flakes drifting by the window. Happy Holidays! π β€

Make a few snowballs for me, Sue. I’ve tried using sand, but it doesn’t stick together, and mud just makes a mess everywhere. *sigh* Guess I’ll just throw oranges at people!

Oh dear, Marcia. These are hilarious, and you’ve made me so grateful that I only have to deal with rain! I don’t miss those days of blizzards, shoveling, and getting stuck! Thanks for the laughs.

So glad you enjoyed them and that they helped to remind you how much you enjoy living where there’s no snow! Truth to tell, as much as I’d love to visit my daughter again when there’s snow on the ground, I’m glad we don’t have to deal with it every winter. The last few days have been nice and cool, shorts weather, but not blisteringly hot. PERFECT to my mind.
Thanks for stopping by to let me know you got some chuckles from the snowy events above. Happy Holidays, my friend! π β€
