For some truly bizarre reason, Thor decided he needs to know more about wildlife around the world. I thought that was a fine idea, but have to admit, I was a bit taken aback when he told me where he wanted to start. It seems he wants to know more about emus. I can’t say for sure, but I suspect he’s been watching way too much tv lately. At any rate, I’m going to indulge him, as I usually do. Brace yourselves. Emus are now on parade! 😀
Okay, as cool as I think emus are, that’s about as
many of them as I can handle at one time.

Thanks, Trish. We’ve had fun so far, though the book store he wanted to go to was closed today. We’ll go back tomorrow. Still, we had fun shopping and had a nice lunch, and are going out for dinner later, too. You can’t beat that! 😀

One of my funniest memories of backpacking around Australia was one of our comrades being chased by an emu.
I felt really bad that none of us helped, but we were all just laughing too hard!
