I agree 100%, Bill!
Thanks for stopping by today and taking time to comment, too. (THAT’S “doing” that makes MY day, anyway. 😁)

Yep! This is one of those things we need to remind ourselves of regularly, especially when Life gets tough.
Thanks so much for stopping by today, Darlene, and here’s to doing good stuff! 😀 ❤

I think that must be one of my favourites so far. People often shrug and say there’s no point in doing something because it’s too big for them to tackle. Doing something is a positive step no matter how small, and to do it to your best is how life should be tackled. What surprises me is how few of these gems I’ve come across before. Great hunting and wisdom, Marcia. ❤ ❤ ❤

So glad this one is a favorite of yours, Trish. (Or a “favourite,” if you like. 😀 ) I agree with every word you said, and I’m so glad you enjoy this series. Can’t wait to tell Granny! 😉) Here’s to simply taking that step to DO things, instead of just thinking about them. It works!
Thanks so much for stopping by today, Trish! 😀 ❤

Something this good bears repeating now and then, doesn’t it, Jeanne? We tend to forget, especially when “the hits just keep on coming,” but “doing” really does make a difference.
Thanks so much for stopping by this morning. Granny’s always glad to see you! 😀 ❤

British blues rock band Ten Years After sang, “I’d love to change the world, but I don’t know what to do, so I’ll leave it up to you.” When we look at the whole, the problems of the world are enormous, overwhelming, seemingly insurmountable. What can I do, as one small person, that could change the world for the better? I can do one good thing as well as i can. I can plant a native pollinator plant for native bees. I can stop using single-use plastics such as water bottles. I can save gas by combining errands so I’ll drive less. I can turn out lights in rooms no one is occupying. I don’t have to do it all. I can pick my favorite, do that one thing, and maybe 10 of us or 100 of us or 1 million of us together, doing that one thing, can change the world for the better.

I agree, Dennis. And even when it doesn’t deal with helping solve the problems of the world (a great aim, I might add), “doing” helps us as individuals. Do one job that you’ve been putting off too long, and not only does that item get repaired, replaced, repainted, etc, but you feel so much better about yourself. And feeling good about ourselves is critical to our wellbeing. So here’s to taking a step, no matter how small, because every single step helps us, or the world, or both.
Great to see you here today, my friend, and I’m looking forward to you visiting in the future, when you can! 😊😊😊

So true, Marcia. Sometimes the small things make a greater impact.

I believe that’s true, Sue. Just because they don’t get as much attention as larger things do, doesn’t mean they are just as effective, and sometimes, even more so.
Thanks for stopping by today! Granny sends you wishes for a super weekend! 😀 ❤
