I love this perspective! In every bad situation, there is hope somewhere. One just needs to choose to find it. Sometimes it’s harder than others, but it’s always there. I love this quote, Marcia! π

Exactly so, Yvette, and it’s up to us to find that rainbow or those stars. No, it isn’t always easy, but the choice is ours. So glad you enjoyed this one, and thanks for taking the time to let me know! π β€

Love it!! Yesterday I got a card from a friend of 40 years – a feisty, beautiful cloistered nun. Uplifting as always, the card included this quote: “hardship…is merely God poking holes in us for the love to flow.” π I suspect we all have plenty of holes, but gosh, the rainbows look brighter these days. π€

Of late, I’m feeling pretty “holey,” and not in the same way your friend is. BUT, I’m workin’ on it, and love her quote to you. Thanks for sharing that and for stopping by to leave a comment. As always, your thoughts are greatly appreciated! π β€

I do, too, Jan, though I admit it is sometimes a challenge to remember this way of looking at things. I think many of us have been put to the test lately, but I keep coming back to this to remind myself it’s the best possible way to deal with adversity. So glad it resonates with you, and I thank you for taking the time to let me know! π β€

It works for me, John. But we do need to teach ourselves to look for that hidden rainbow or sprinkling of stars. It’s easy to forget in the middle of Bad Times, isn’t it? Glad you enjoyed this one, and thanks so much for taking the time to comment. π

Glad you enjoyed this one, Diana. The truth is, most of us have more things to be grateful for than angry about, but the things that make us unhappy receive way too much attention and can take over our lives so easily. Sometimes, we just need to change our focus and look for those rainbows and stars! π Thanks so much for stopping by today and taking a few minutes to comment. It’s greatly appreciated! π β€

I love the way our perceptions impact every single part of our lives. It’s our magical power that we can use for good or evil. Lol.

If it made you smile and think of a favorite song from a favorite childhood program/character, and reminded you to look for the positive instead of the negative, then yep! It worked just as intended. And I’m so glad you enjoyed it, and shared Kermie’s ditty with us! Thanks!! π β€
