Running a wee bit late this evening, but I hope you’ll excuse me. Been a busy, event-filled week. Still, I wouldn’t be able to sleep tonight if I didn’t share Sally’s latest Weekly RoundUp post. As usual, there’s something for everyone this week, and you’ll likely see a familiar face or two around her place. π Hope you’ll check it out, and won’t forget to pass it along far and wide. Thanks!
You can visit Sally’s Weekly Round Up Post HERE.
Happy Reading!

You are very welcome, Sally. It’s the least I can do for someone who supports writers as whole-heartedly as you! Thank you again for your lovely review of The Light and for another wonderful week on Smorgasbord! And back atcha with the love and hugs! π β€

Working like a thing possessed in the sweltering heat, trying to get a bit more accomplished in our “destroyed” backyard before I have to quit going outside at all. July through September are pretty much a matter of being housebound in the a/c for me. We are replacing fencing, tearing up the last of the plants killed by our tornado/hurricane 2 years ago (yes, we’re that slow), and beginning to replant the big beds out there. AND we had to have tree people out this week to remove the last of the huge, dying laurel oaks. More on that process tomorrow. It was kind of amazing, though sad.
Anyway, as weekends go, I feel good that we accomplished a lot, but am still dragging from heat exhaustion and too much heavy work. Am going to take it easy over the next few days, for sure. More to come next weekend, and then, I may call my part done until fall. Thanks for the good wishes, though, and I’m not unhappy with what we got done. It’s starting to look better, finally! And thanks for sharing, too. π β€
And I hope YOUR weekend was a great one, with far less labor going on! π β€

Wow! My weekend pales in comparison, stuck behind a computer working. Rest, my friend. You’ve earned it. π

I would definitely have traded with you, Sue. π I’m getting too old to work so hard in 93 degree weather. BUT. I’m almost done for the year, and then I think maybe I’ll be able to focus on the good folks of Riverbend, where there’s a brand new sort of danger about to rear its ugly head. π (Zipping lips, here. I can say no more! π π π ) Yeah. Computer work. Sitting on my backside in cool comfort. I think I can handle some more of THAT! Stressing my brain sounds better than breaking my back! π
