    • I love that house, too, Rosie, which is why I knew immediately it was exactly the house for the Painter family. If you get to Florida, I will personally take you on The Naiad as my guest, for the best eco-tour on the river. Captain Jeanne and Doug Little will wow you with their knowledge, and their expertise at finding all the best critters for you to see. (Just don’t expect Big Blue to show up. 😀 )

        • Snakes are so beautiful to watch. I used to work with them years ago at the central Florida zoo. (ONLY non-venomous ones, though). But while I love them, and look for them every time I go out on Jeanne & Doug’s boat (or in my canoe, in my younger days), I seldom see them. They are there, but they don’t want to be found. So you probably won’t see any, and if one were to be spotted, you just simply look at the scenery on the OTHER side of the boat. 😀 But the alligators are fun to see. They do NOT threaten boaters in anyway. And the Eco-tour boat is BIG. You won’t be scared at all, I promise. Besides, I’ll be there to take care of you. 😀 😀 😀
