Tropical Storm Milton is set to become a hurricane and is heading directly toward Florida. It’s predicted to come ashore at Tampa and cross the state …right over US … en route to the Atlantic! If I disappear for a few days, it might be from loss of electricity, depending on how strong the storm is in comparison to our power lines. Urk.
If we do lose power, I’ll touch base with you again just as soon as it’s possible. Fingers crossed Milton loses strength rapidly and doesn’t do too much damage!
See you on the other side.

If it isn’t one thing, it’s another! Stay safe.

Ain’t that the truth, Darlene!!! But we’ve made it through so many of these storms over the decades that I have every reason to believe (hope!) we can do it at least one more time. Will let you know how it goes when we get to the other side of this one.

You getting way too much experience with storms. Take care. 🙂

I agree. Once you’ve been exposed to 80 years of hurricanes, you’ve surely reached the status of Old Pro, and don’t need any more!! *sigh*

Best wishes against the storms that seem never to end…

Thanks, Bill, and “storms that never end” is a pretty accurate description, sadly. I reckon we can make it through one more. (Probably.)

Fingers crossed it peters out – the current trajectory must certainly be worrying for you.
I suppose it’s too late to suggest a move elsewhere… ❤ ❤ ❤

Even though I’m a Florida native, I’d live much farther north … IF I could get my husband out from beneath the palms! *sigh* And yes, the storm is looking like it will definitely hit us. Will keep you posted on how things go, assuming I have power afterward.

Me, too, Priscilla, but it isn’t looking likely that will happen. Oh, well. Been through a lot of these, so I’m hoping we can handle one more. Will keep you posted.
