Tropical Storm or Possibly Worse On the Way!

Just a quick note to let you know that we have a possible tropical storm (or worse) heading towards Florida this weekend, so if I disappear for a day or two, it’s likely because we’ve lost power. I’m HOPING it bypasses us and heads out into the Atlantic instead, where damage would likely be minimal, but you never know about these things. Mark has headed to the store to grab some last minute canned goods to tide us through, in case we do lose power and refrigerated items spoil. 

Will try to keep you updated as to what’s happening here if the power situation allows. We do have a gas grill for cooking and a gas-run generator, for the necessities, like the fridge and a small, room-sized a/c unit, or at least fans.

      • Oh my! That sounds terrifying. Hope all the infrastrstructure stays as it should and that your lovely garden is spared. Above all, I hope that you’re all right and that you can do what you can to distract yourself from what’s going on outside. <3<3<3
