Hi Marcia, I’ve never really felt there was a choice. I’ve always had to follow the second path as there isn’t really another choice – except maybe at the bottom of a bottle and I don’t like alcohol much.

Many people would take the first route, sadly, but good to know you’ve never even considered it an option, Robbie. Yay for you!
Thanks for stopping by today and taking a moment to way in on Granny’s post. Hope it’s a super Friday for you! 😀 ❤

I think the choice is up to us, and the second one sure sounds like a better idea, eh? Thanks so much for stopping by this morning, Cathy, and I hope you have a super day ahead! 😀 ❤

Just used them the second time today, and while I won’t know for sure for a few days yet, I do think they are feeling better. Thanks for the well wishes, my friend, and hope all is going along as it should for you now, too! 😀 ❤

Glad you liked this one, Jackie, and thanks for the very kind comment. I do try to choose the right one, though that might be partly because I’m too old for much running! 😂 Thanks so much for stopping by this morning, and I hope you have a fabulous Friday!

So glad you like the quote, Harmony. Given those options, I’ll aim for the second one every time, so I asked Granny to share it today. And I plan to do a health update later, but in short, the medication I was awaiting finally arrived, and so far, it definitely seems to be helping. Fingers crossed. I’m ready to get ON with life again. Thanks for your kind wishes, and for stopping by this morning. I hope your day is a good one, too, my friend!

The other one is Fantazing Events that Appear Real. Most fears are only in our imagination

Ooooh, I like that one, Darlene. Well, I mean, I like AVOIDING that one. And you are so right. Most fears either arise in our imagination, or if reality-based, are intensified by it. We
humans are very, very good at that.
Thanks for stopping by today and sharing that line with us. Hope your Friday is turning out to be a great one! 😀 ❤

Such a clever, Granny! The challenge is knowing when to do which. Wisdom and humor go together so well. Thanks, Marcia.

Good point, Diana. Sometimes a speedy get-away really IS the better option, though mostly, I think facing the obstacle head on and conquering it is the way to go. But there are certainly exceptions. I guess the trick is to be able to recognize them. 😀
Thanks for stopping by today, and here’s to a great weekend ahead! 😀 ❤

Fear keeps us from falling off cliffs and getting eaten by tigers, right? But I agree that most psychological fears are worth facing. We find out they were nothing to be afraid of in the first place.

I agree. It may not always be an easy one, but we can learn to focus on the positive, if we put our minds to it. And Zig was right most of the time, if you ask me. Some wonderful quotes from that guy!
Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a super weekend! 😀 ❤
