    • It’s got me thinking of ways to promote children’s books here on my blog. (Every little bit might help, right?) Hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend, Jeanne, and thanks for stopping by! 😀 ❤

    • I fear it’s already happening some places, Gwen, but I have high hopes we can halt the progress, and teach our children that the importance and beauty of books is eternal. Certainly, as writers and READERS, ourselves, we know the unique value of books, and are doing our part to share that far and wide. In the long run, I think we’ll prevail! (That’s my story an’ I’m stickin’ to it! 😉)

Thanks for stopping by today, and I hope you have a beautiful and blessed Easter weekend. 😀 ❤

  1. I work as an Educational Assistant so I know that schools try to teach children how to read. In my opinion, what is missing is the home piece. With both parents working and tired, technology replaces that bedtime story that is so fundamental in learning how to read and creating a close bond. Parents may also think that it’s the school’s job to teach their children but it doesn’t end at school. Children also need to see their parents reading real books/material and not phones. Just my thoughts…

    • As long as they are being taught to enjoy reading, I’m happy. Parents and schools both are necessary, I think, but that’s as far into that topic as I want to go. (No politics on this blog.)

Thanks for stopping by, Wendy, and hope you have a beautiful Easter! 😀 ❤
