    • Glad you liked this one, Darlene. I feel like we should shout this from the rooftops. (Some days I think people seem to have forgotten what love and kindness are.)

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Always a treat to see you visiting! πŸ˜€ ❀

    • I know you do, Jackie, and if it’s any help, I think you are doing a very good job of it! πŸ’–Thanks so much for stopping by today. So glad you’ve joined the TWS family! πŸ˜€ ❀

    • Granny loves you, too, Trish! And isn’t it wonderful to have friends who live by this credo? We are blessed with that, for sure. Now if we could just bring more folks into the fold, the world would better for it every day!

Thanks so much for stopping by this morning, and here’s hoping this day proves to be a great one, filled with love and joy! πŸ˜€ ❀

    • It would, indeed, Jeanne. My plan is to spread the happiness as far and wide as I’m able, and hope folks pass it along. Changes in attitudes and actions start the same way as all other changes … one person at a time. Let’s see if we can make Love, Happiness, and Joy go VIRAL!! πŸ˜€

Thanks so much for stopping by today. It’s always good to see you!! πŸ˜€ ❀

    • Aw, thanks, Gwen! You always lift my spirits and give me reason to believe in humanity! If I can bring a smile … or even better, a bit of full-out, thigh-slapping laughter … to your day, I’m a happy camper, too!

Granny is very glad you enjoyed today’s post, and here’s to a wonderful Friday and a beautiful weekend! Thanks for stopping by! πŸ˜€ ❀

  1. Hmmmm…. somehow I don’t think that’s quite what Granny (or Mother Theresa) had in mind. πŸ€” So I’m going to go with this: you were trying to make me laugh, which you did. Thanks for that, and I’m also going to congratulate you for finding ways to make a “grumpy old dude” bring smiles to folks! That counts, too! 😁

Thanks for stopping by today, and hope you’ll drop in often. Lovable curmudgeonly sorts are welcome visitors, too! πŸ˜€ ❀

PS … cat lovers are my favorite kind of people! πŸ˜€

    • Sorry, Archon. As I explain in my Blog Rules section above, I don’t allow religion or politics to be discussed on The Write Stuff, as it’s meant to be a neutral zone for all. I removed your response because it violated that rule, and while you can do that on your own blog, you can’t on mine. Regardless of your personal feelings about Mother Theresa or anyone else, the quote above is a positive, uplifting one, and it stays. Play nice, please.

    • I thought so too, when I came across the quote, Bette. And it seems like a good time to remind folks about the subject, too. Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks so much for stopping by! πŸ˜€ ❀

    • Rae, I removed my Reblog Button after reading a very interesting and informative post on Hugh’s Views and News blog. https://hughsviewsandnews.com/

I’d been considering doing so for some time, as reblogging can cause problems for folks. Rebloggers have no control over the images that will show up on their blog and that can create problems. Sometimes serious ones. Hugh recommends removing the Reblog Button and finding other ways to share. These days, I just copy the URL of the post in question and share that on my blog, with whatever description or “header” image that fits. It’s safer all the way around, and no one risks any complications.

BTW, if you don’t follow Hugh’s blog, you might want to check it out overall. He shares some wonderful tips and ideas for us bloggers, and I’ve made use of many of them. Hope you find this helpful! πŸ˜€ ❀

      • Thanks for this information. I need to learn a new way to share, anyway b/c Bluebird of Bitterness, which I reblogged often has evidently done the same thing. Both yours and their posts are ones I frequently like to share. TY

        • I’m glad the info was helpful, Rae. And it’s not hard, really. The main thing is just to cut and paste the link into your post manually, and then you can tell folks what it’s about any way you wish. And/or include a graphic or image you know is safe to post along with it, if you like, as long as you know it’s “legal” for you to use. (Like from Pexels or one of the sites with free images that are safe.) Those few minutes sharing like that can save a lot of problems later, and you’ll still get to pass along your favorite posts so others can enjoy them, too. (Bluebird is always a good one to share. It can brighten the gloomiest morning!) Good luck, my friend! πŸ˜€ ❀

    • Thanks, Yvette. I’m glad you like it, and I agree. The world would improve drastically overnight, wouldn’t it?

Thanks for stopping by, and here’s to a great week ahead. πŸ˜€ ❀
