I’m old enough to understand the Billy Joe McCallister reference. 😀

Oh, you and me, both, Robert! In fact, there were times I thought I’d be hearing Bobbi Gentry’s voice in my head for the rest of my life. 😀 Glad this one made you smile! And thanks for stopping by today! 🙂

Memory Lane is a street I visit with ever greater frequency. The landmarks are growing more and more familiar daily! 😀 I’ll remember to wave when I see you strolling along, too! 😉

Wonderful selection, Marcia. I laughed heartedly, and I especially enjoyed the philosophy one. 🤣 Thank you for the morning levity. Always appreciated! 🤗

I loved that one too, Gwen! And Revisionist Chemistry. Oh, heck, I laughed at all of them, or I wouldn’t have passed them along. 😀 Thanks for stopping by today! 🙂

Glad you enjoyed them, Craig. By this time of the week, I think we can ALL use a laugh or two. Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a moment to comment. 🙂

LOL! These are great, Marcia 😁 Love the zombie one and BillieJoe Mcallister ones. And the 4:30AM bird ones is so true 😂

Glad you enjoyed them, Jeanne. The Florida state bird is the mockingbird, and they often start singing way before dawn, so I “felt” that one, too. 😀 And one of these days I’m going to take my own picture of that Tallahatchie Bridge I heard so much about back then … every single day for months and months! 😀 Thanks so much for stopping by today and letting me know you got a laugh from these. 😀

I think laughs are MUCH needed by all of us these days, Staci, so happy to provide a few at least once a week. Glad you enjoyed them, and thanks for letting me know! 🙂

I snorted over the zombie one. Bond is giving me a really weird look right now.

Bond? James Bond? 😀 Is that your cat, maybe? I’m glad the zombies made you snort loud enough to attract Bond’s attention, Teri! I love that one, too. 😀 Thanks for stopping by and taking a moment to let me know. Providing early morning snorts is a favorite task for me. 😀

He’s a tuxedo cat, and my oldest son named him Mr. Bond – Bond for short. He prefers his catnip shaken, not stirred.

Heeeeheeee! I love it! Perfect name. My tuxedo cat is named Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden, and his sister is Sgt. Karrin Murphy. But nothing could be better for a formally attired cat than Bond. James Bond. 😀

My well-hidden ribs are truly tickled! Thanks, Marcia. (I’m off now to investigate Ode to Billie Joe.) 😀

Oh, believe me, Trish. if you’d been living in American in the late 60s, you’d be very familiar with Billy Joe McAllister. I sort of liked the song the first three or four thousand times I heard it. There is a message to it, and it was catchy. But then it just turned into an ear-worm that would not go away! 😀 And the photo above just made me hoot out loud. Glad your ribs got tickled, and thanks for stopping by. (Enjoy your research!) 😀

I had to go back and read them more than once because I enjoyed them so much, Marcia. I’m still giggling. So many good ones today. I think my absolute favorite is the chicken-egg-Amazon meme. I so look forward to these each Thursday. Thank you for taking the time to round them up, and sharing the laughter!

It’s my pleasure, Mae, and I’m so glad you got a kick out of them. I love the which came first one, too. 😀 But I’m not sure I can pick a favorite out of today’s batch. The picture of the Tallahatchie Bridge really made me laugh (or snort!), and I liked the Why Are You Here one, and the Revisionist Chemistry. But honestly, they all made me laugh enough to want to pass them along. Thanks for letting me know you enjoyed them! May they keep you smiling all day long! 😀

That might have been my favorite, Diana. There was a time when I thought I’d never get that song outta my head! 😀 Thanks for stopping by, and sorry I’m a bit late responding. (It was NOT because I didn’t care, honest!) 😀

🙂 I think that song was stuck in my head for a while too. That’s what makes the meme so funny.

These are hilarious! It’s hard to pick a favorite. I do wonder how many people will know who Billy Joe McAllister. (I’m old enough to remember!)

Quite a few remembered that old song, Liz, and truly, for those of us who were around when it was on the charts, how could we forget? I had nightmares of never being able to get it out of my mind! 😀 Glad you enjoyed the laughs, though, and hope you’ll forgive me being late to respond. Crazy days around here lately. 😀
