We are really getting down to the wire, so I thought this might be a good time to focus on the star of the Dresden Files, namely, Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden, himself. So, here are some of my favorite Harry pictures and memes for you to enjoy, all in one handy place at the same time. ๐ Let’s call this indulgence “I’m Just Wild About Harry,” shall we? ๐ย
I’m gonna get the show rolling with one of my very favorite pictures of Harry, takenย right from the cover of Welcome to the Jungle #2, cover design by the fabulous Christian McGrath, with cover modelย John Paul Pfeiffer.
Though this my personal favorite version of Harry Dresden, there are a lot of other representations out there. Out of all the rest, my favorite takes on Harry are paintings by Mika Blackfield, such as this next one. Therefore, art by McGrath and Blackfield are the images I’ll be focusing on, with a few interesting exceptions. And, surprise! I’m going to let the pictures do most of the talking today.ย
Notice that in this one, Harry seems to be enjoying
some very interesting reading material.
Errrmmm…The Butcher Files??ย
๐
Now how about a few action scenes just to mix things up a bit?
And Last, a Few Chuckles Before You Go
And that’s my offering of visual treats for today. Hope you enjoyed taking a look at some of the art that this series has spawned. And guess what? Next Tuesday will be the last countdown post BEFORE the release of Peace Talks the following week. Can you believe the end is almost here? Why it seems like no time at all since I started these posts to pass the time until I could get my hands on a copy of Peace Talks, yet here it is. Almost upon us! Woohooo! See you guys next week! ๐ย
Woogoo! So excited! Thanks for getting me hooked on these, Marcia ๐

Always love sharing my addictions, Harmony. (Mostly, they are usually harmless ones, as addictions go.) ๐ BTW, I started Changes last night, and THIS one, I do remember a lot about. I cannot WAIT to hear your reaction to even the very first chapter!!! OMG. (I can say no more! ๐ )

Hehehehe. Good! We need some happy excitement in the world for a change. But fair warning to Mr. Butcher. This book better have been worth the wait. Even I’m running out of things to say about this series. ๐ ๐ ๐

Great selection of pictures and quotes, Marcia.
As the song goes, “I’m so excited, and I just can’t hide it!” ๐๐

Glad you enjoyed them, Jeanne. Yesterday was a nightmare day, so all I had time for was sharing images. I do think some of these are great, though. And I’m going to get next week’s post ready ahead of time so I don’t have to rush.
BTW, I’m singing the same song here! (As you might imagine!) ๐

Well, I did read about EIGHT chapters last night in Changes before I finally dozed off. ๐ I still have 3 more books to go before the 14th. Working on those might mean I have to give up a few hours of sleep here and there, but it’s worth it. ๐ I’m going to be SO ready for Peace Talks! Oh, and I saw a couple of early reviews and comments, and it sounds like people are loving this one! Wooohooooo! ๐ *Snoopy Happy Dance, Here* ๐

Google Dresden Files and you’ll find a kajillion of ’em. One stop shopping. ๐ Some are more cartoonish, and while fun, they aren’t my favorites. But some are truly works of art. Also, a good place to look is the Deviant Art website. You can search for Dresden Files or Harry Dresden, and find some truly beautiful things, amid the cartoons and sketches. Have fun!
