I apologize for being late with this post today. You can imagine how crazy my week has been for this to happen, but here it is, ready or not!
Only THREE more weeks until the arrival of Peace Talks, and today, I want to share some of the amazing merchandise this series has spawned. We should all be so lucky as to have some of these things on store shelves for our own books! What things, you ask? Well, let’s take a look.
How About a new Cover for Your Cell Phone?
It this one doesn’t appeal, you can find many other options out there.
I’m partial to this one!
And as you might imagine, t-shirts abound.
Possibly by the hundreds. Here are a few I liked.
And on, and on, and on.
Now you’d expect t-shirts for sure, but how about jewelry?
Anybody brave enough to wear the coin of a
Blackened Denarius around their neck?
Or on their cuffs?
(Not meeeee. I know too much!)
Other options abound, though.
How about your very own shield bracelet?
I think I could go for one of these.
Or maybe a key fob with a pentacle just like
the one Harry wears around his neck?
If jewelry’s not your thing, perhaps a blanket?
A spiral notebook or two?
Posters? Decals? Mugs? Plaques?
Into Games?
Raising a Little Dresdenphile at Home?
Or Maybe You Like Coloring for Stress Relief?
(Lots of these pages out there!)
Collect Action Figures?
Or Prefer More Realistic (Read: Expensive) Art?
So, as you can see from this array of photos, pretty much any type of Dresden Files collectible you’d enjoy is out there. I found many of these items for sale on a site called Redbubble in case you want to check it out, yourself. You can even get face masks there, should you want the whole world to know who’s really defending you against errant viruses of all types.
And because this post is so crammed full of images, I’m only going to leave you with one meme for the day–but it’s a good one.
And now that I’ve boggled your mind with all the merchandising this series has inspired, and maybe encouraged you to pick up an item or two for your own bookshelves, I’m outta here!
Okay, ONE more for you devoted fans of Bob the Skull, like me!
Yes, you can actually purchase one of these for yourself.
(I’m sooo tempted, except that honestly,
Bob doesn’t really have all the glyphs and things,
so I’m resisting.)
And now I’m outta here! (For sure, this time!)
Roll on, July 14, roll on!
And I wish I had a fan like you. This is some collection

It is just the tip of the iceberg of what’s out there, John, but these aren’t mine. I buy book-related doodads now and then, but mostly, I just collect the books themselves, and especially if I can find a signed copy anywhere. This is all merchandise I discovered online while searching for things for this post. There is so much more out there, I can’t even tell you! I admit, I’m thinking about getting a mug, and I DO have a signed and numbered print by Dresden cover designer, Chris McGrath hanging on my library wall. Oh, and a skull representing Bob on my Dresden bookshelf, but that’s all. One print and Bob. So far. I’ll decide about the mug later. 😀
And we Dresdenphiles are LEGION. There are so many, it boggles the mind. Hence all the games and merchandise out there. I wish I had those kinds of fans and those kinds of items on store shelves, too. *sigh* Maybe someday. In the meantime, I’m happy to have the readers I do, and will keep on telling my stories as long as I can.
Thanks for stopping by today.

I’m partial to the “heckhound” phone case too, but it doesn’t look like it would fit my model phone (unless there are different models available). And I think I would pass on the Blackened Denarius, as well. A shirt would be nice, but my closet is past full. And I have the card game, just haven’t played it yet.

I suspected you’d have a couple of these things, Jeanne! And yeah to passing on the Blackened Denarius. That would just be asking for trouble! The card game looks like it would be nice just to have on a shelf, but I’m not as drawn to that as I am the mugs. I love mugs and have a lot of different kinds. But a Dresden mug would be a first for a book-related one. Might just grab one. 😀
Check on the link to Redbubble. That’s where I found the phone cases. Maybe they have one in the size you need, or might be able to get one. It’s fun. We want pictures if you get it! 😀 I’m thinking I might do a search for a Dresden Files calendar. Haven’t seen one of those yet, but who knows. That, I might consider getting.
Thanks for stopping by today, Jeanne, and taking the time to say hi! Only TWO more of these countdown posts to come, and then the BIG Day is here! 😀 ❤

If I hadn’t already decided to read the series, the zombie T-rexes would have sealed the deal.

OMG, Teri! You’ll fall outta your chair when you read that scene! I don’t know another series ever (and I LOVE many, many of them) that can scare me so often yet make me laugh so hard at the same time. I think that’s Butcher’s genius. He knows how to add that comic relief to a story where some pretty intense monsters abound. I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as his legions of fans do. 😀
Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a few minutes to comment! 🙂 ❤

This stuff is so cool. I’m kind of enamored with the pub tee shirt.

Any beer drinker in the world would be enamored of McAnally’s! Even I am, and I don’t like beer. 😀 But the shirt is great. I think you should get one!! 😀
And it IS cool, isn’t it? I wish I had anything so grand for either of my series. I have bookmarks, postcards, and some custom tea blends named for my characters in little tins with the book cover on them, but that’s pretty much it. I want more swag!!! And maybe even things I could SELL! 😀
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to say hi, Craig! Now go get yourself that t-shirt. (The link to Redbubble is above!) 😀

I should. I have paper dolls on my website.

Cool. I need to take a closer look at your website (and everyone else’s probably). I’m so far behind on blogging, I’ve neglected to see what others have to offer beyond the post of the day. 😦 That’s terrible of me! I definitely want to see your paper dolls. (I’m assuming we’re talking about Lisa here, because the thought of dressing you up in paper outfits is just … unsettling! 😀 😀 😀 )

Love all this merchandise! Can’t wait until the book releases! Thanks for getting me hooked, Marcia. This is one author I now adore 🙂

It’s amazing how much of it there is, and I only touched the tip of the iceberg. Wow! To have franchises like that promoting your work, AND thousands of readers buying it just boggles my mind! And every time you mention how much you are loving these books, it makes me happy, happy, happy. I LOVE when I introduce someone to a new writer or series and they fall for it so completely. But, really. How can you help it? A character for the ages, doing fantastic and remarkable things and SAYING things that make you fall off your chair laughing, even while fighting the grimmest of the grim monsters and villains? Who could resist that? Not I, that’s for sure. And it’s great to have friends to share it with, too! 😀 Thanks for stopping by today and taking a moment to comment. Now, back to adoring Harry for you. And for me, too. 😀

I made the mistake of going onto the site and looking at the wirebound notebooks. So many to choose from…

😂😂😂 you’re just like me, Trish! 😊

Trish is one of my greatest online friends, Harmony, and a wonderful person to talk books (or anything else) with. I’m SO glad she’s enjoying this series along with us! It was new to her, too, before I came along and filled her head with thoughts of Wizards battling demons and monsters and saving the world, “one random act of destruction at a time.” 😀

I don’t think that’s a mistake at all, Trish. I think that’s showing excellent taste and all I want to know is, how many did you get? 😀 😀 😀

Soo tempted by the action figure…. And the stupid quote. I really feel a t-shirt with that quote is so appropo these days 😀

Ha! I actually did order a mug with the stupid quote on it. It’s perfection, isn’t it? My only problem with the mugs are that most of them have one image only, and it’s not on either side. It’s in the middle. So it doesn’t show when you lift up the mug to drink. ??? Probably a good thing, as I’m a collector of mugs for my morning tea, and use a different one each day. If there were an image on each side of all of them, I’d soon have a full set of Dresden Files mugs filling a whole shelf, I’m sure! (OCD? Who, me? Ya think?)
Thanks for stopping by, Julie! So great to see you on board with the countdown! 😀 ❤
