#CentralFloridasFabulousWildlife Presentation – The American Alligator

Baby American Alligator (Alligator mississippiensis)

For those of you in the central Florida area next Saturday, July 14, 2018, I will be doing a slide show presentation on the American Alligator at 1:00pm, at the Enterprise Heritage Museum, 360 Main Street, Enterprise.  Free, no reservations required. Call (386) 259-5900 for directions to the museum.

If you’ve ever wanted to know the difference between alligators and crocodiles, how many crocodilians there are in the world, or exactly what a gharial is, now’s your chance to see for yourself. And if you’ve never visited this little museum–a lovingly restored 1930s era schoolhouse–you really should check it out.

Again, the presentation is free (though the museum gratefully accepts donations at the door) and is chock-full of fun and interesting information, along with loads of pictures. There will be plenty of time built in for questions and answers, and I will be available afterward to sign books and chat.

Hope to see your smiling face there!

NOTE: Time in Flyer is Incorrect. Program starts at 1:00 PM

    • Thanks, Bette! I always have a good time when I visit this cute little museum, and hopefully, the audiences do, too. Lots of them return for new programs, so I’m optimistic they’re enjoying them, and finding out stuff about our wildlife (or about writing) they didn’t know before. Thanks for your well wishes! 🙂 ❤

    • Around here, you’d have to put one of those signs up on every body of water, large or small, including drainage ditches and retention ponds! Eeep. But I’m actually quite happy seeing the sign made you think of me. 😀 Now when you see a sign that says “Leucistic Alligator Zone” . . . . . . . . . . . . 😀 😀 😀

    • Wait. It’s YOU that’s the long way off, not me. 😀 Come on over!! I’ll do a private showing just for you, and then take you on the eco tour. We’ll have FUN!! 😀

Seriously, how wonderful it would be to have you join us! Maybe some day! (Right before I finally get to take my longed for trip to Scotland and every corner of Great Britain.) 😀 ❤
