2. Shel Silverstein wrote a wonderful children’s book called “Where The Sidewalk Ends.” It’s a delight, and one I’ve read from time to time, just for my own enjoyment.

   As for the first, I find myself surprised now and then by something that has obviously come straight from my subconscious. Then, I realize it’s exactly how I feel. 😀 I was pleased to learn other writers do the same thing. 😀

   • Thank you for the explanation. I hadn’t heard of him – just looked him up on Wikipaedia but didn’t see the book title which would have helped me ‘get’ it.

       But really, you don’t have to read it. 😀 Unless you want to. It’s just a lot of parents will recognize it, I think. Or maybe it’s just me. But as soon as I saw the pic, I thought of it, before even reading the caption. 😀 If you scroll down far enough on the preview, you can read the first few poems, and see some of his illustrations. I love them! 🙂
