    • Yay! I’m so glad you enjoyed Harbinger. Thanks for letting me know, and thanks SO much for reviewing! I’m going to go check them out right away! So, you’re all caught up on Wake-Robin Ridge stuff, eh? Well, Riverbend will be a bit of a change of pace. Nothing that goes bump in the night, but some pretty weird characters, just the same. I sure hope you enjoy it.

Thanks for your kind words, too! You made my evening!! 🙂

    • I thought so, too, Mae. Glad you liked it. I like how you build a book one word, one sentence, one page at a time. 😀 Thanks for stopping by. I know you are probably still tuckered out from all the cleaning and putting back together after your big a/c project. (Notice how I forget there’s heat involved, too? I don’t use ours. In 13 years, we’ve only turned it on about 3 times, when my elderly mother was here. I like it cold. And we have a fireplace for the occasional night when it dips way down. So I forget sometimes that our system DOES actually heat, too.) 😀 Anyway, it was nice to see you here tonight! ❤

        • I’ll switch with you. I purely HATE wearing shorts and sweating on Thanksgiving and Christmas!! I miss crisp autumn days most of all, with heaps of pumpkins piled everywhere, and frost on the ground. I like winter, too (within reason), but summer just gets longer and hotter and more uncomfortable to me every year. It’s been in the 95 to 97 range here for several weeks, and that’s way too hot for me. I can’t even stand to go out on the eco-tours right now, unless I stuff a bottle of frozen water down the front of my shirt, and keep my battery operated fan aimed at my face! (I swear, I’m going to have that thing surgically grafted to my forehead, one of these days!) Eeeeeep.

But, what can we do? We just have to focus on the things we DO like about where we are. (I think they call that blooming where you’re planted! 😀 )

          • Okay 95-97 several weeks in a row would wear on me too. Why do we always think the grass is greener elsewhere, LOL.

I actually love autumn and I enjoy winter for the month of December. After that I’m done with it. I think I’d be really happy where I am, enjoying spring, summer and fall if winter was over by January!

            • As they say, too much of a good thing is . . . TOO MUCH! 😀 Summer that lasts six months is a summer that’s crossed over to the dark side. As is a six-month winter. (Probably literally, in that case.) Why can’t each season be a reasonable, non-extreme 3 months, then move on? Is that so much to ask? 😀 😀 😀

              • And BTW, I could live with autumn ALL year long. I love it so much, I can’t begin to tell you. Especially in the mountains. *sigh* Must plan a North Caroline trip soon!!
