Yes, He’s Real
Finally got my last post in my American alligator series up. Hope you’ll check it out. I really enjoyed sharing this one. White alligators–both kinds–are among my favorite animals. Please stop by, and pass it along to the usual suspects! THANKS!

I think the second picture he was waving at ya. So very cool indeed.

Ha! I was so entranced by his face, I never even noticed his “wave.” π Glad you enjoyed the post. These fantastic reptiles really fascinate me! Thanks for checking it out. π

He’s beautiful. And I never thought I’d say that about an alligator (sorry!).
Off to check out the post now!

We have a leucistic alligator at the California Academy of Sciences; they really are beautiful.

They are, indeed, and you are very lucky to have one of the 14 known in the entire world. Hope you get to enjoy him often. They are one of those animals (like gorillas) that I find myself in awe of, and I could just stare at them for hours. π Nice to see you here, today.

Holy moly, that was an education! I would have never believed there were white alligators if not for this post. π

As I always say, stick with me, Kid–I’ll learn ya something! π When you get to Swamp Ghosts in your TBR pile, you’ll discover that Big Blue, an 11-foot leucistic alligator, features prominently in the tale. π And now you’ll know I wasn’t making him up. Or at least not the existence of leucistic alligators. Hehehe.
Glad you enjoyed (or were shocked by) the post. Next week, something completely non-reptilian, for sure. π

I think he was waving. π And those BLUE eyes in the first photo… They are beautiful. And how cool that they use acupuncture for alligators.

π It IS cool, isn’t it? They try very hard to give these rare creatures a healthy, happy environment, where they will live and thrive, as much as possible.
