I may be slaving away at editing the last five chapters of #ThatDarkestPlace, but at last I have something to share with you guys! My cover designer, Graphics Goddess Nicki Forde (of Nicki Forde Designs) has done me proud, once again. I do believe this is my favorite of all my covers. So far. (You never know what she’ll come up with for the next one.) I just had to share this today, and I hope you agree that it’s a glorious thing. Full of mystery, hinting at disaster, and perfectly encompassing a man in despair.

Thanks, Mae! I agree 100%! Nicki is very good at what she does, which often includes reading my mind. Luckily, we think a LOT alike, she and I, having been friends for over ten years, so she gets my vision, and then always improves on it. And this one says just what I wanted it to say. VERY glad you like it!! 🙂

Thanks, Teagan! I’m pretty darn happy with it, myself. She sent me four versions, and they were ALL beautiful, but this one stood out. Can’t wait to get this editing completed, and release this book! 🙂

Me, either, Cathy! It seems like I’ve been writing this one forever! It has taken me almost year, with so many interruptions and unrelated complications. I’m very eager to get it published, for sure! 🙂 So glad you like it!

My next release probably won’t be until later in the spring. Somehow I’ve gotten several projects going at once, which is making me a bit crazy.

Thank you, Sarah! We made a deliberate choice to “brand” each series with a particular look and/or color scheme, so we knew what the layout would be before we started brainstorming. I was so happy to see how well it worked out and how dramatic it looks. Everyone has their own taste and style, of course, but for me, this one does exactly what I want it to. Glad you think so, too! 🙂
