Another week gone by, another chance to share photos from my Inspiration Board. In addition to Florida rivers and wildlife, my Inspiration Board is filled with photos of the mountains of North Carolina, not only because my Wake-Robin Ridge series is set there, but because it is truly my favorite place on earth. Who could not be inspired by scenery like this? Rhododendrons in bloom, rolling hills in the distance, and light streaming down from the heavens above. *Happy Sigh* Hope it inspires you, as well.
Have pinned the photo to my DreamScapes board. Keep ’em coming! 🙂

You can count on them every Sunday, and it’s just possible I may do a few posts at other times, too. Did you know the Appalachian mountain chain is the oldest on the planet? They are beautifully rounded and rolling, in their eroded splendor. I always get a sense of something ancient and mystical when I’m sitting on a “bald,” looking out across those hills.

And why I love them so much. There is something compelling about them, and the waterfalls are absolutely magical. I was going to alternate each Sunday, between Florida scenes and mountain scenes, but I just might have to double up, so you can see, and contrast, each of them. 🙂
