Boxed Sets – A Trial & Error Situation

Okay, since no one responded to my query yesterday, it looks like I’m going to have to blunder through this on my own. Sort of the same way I’ve done most everything in my life. 🙂 I’m going to shorten my title, and try to figure out how to make it work. Will keep you all informed of what I learn, in the hopes you won’t repeat any mistakes I might make along the way. Boxed Set Learning Experience, Take One is now underway. Wish me luck.

    • Thanks, Sue. I’ve done it! Now to wait and see how it looks when it goes live. 😯 I shortened the title to meet the requirements as listed by amazon, though I saw an awful lot of boxed sets that didn’t appear to do so. However, experience has taught me that I’m the one BOUND to get caught if I break the rules, so why chance it? I did want certain words in the title to help with searches, but I decided to err on the side of caution for now. And I really went crazy in the description part, using the full text from each book. So I got some stuff in there, anyway.

Other than how to title the set and the best way to show it’s a series, the uploading process is the same as for any other book, so I’ve got my fingers crossed that it will look okay, and I can move on. The sequel to Swamp Ghosts is screaming for my attention. Been paused on Chapter 7 for about 6 weeks now, while getting Rabbit’s story out there. Must get back to Hunter. That weirdy-weird guy needs my help, or his life will remain a mess forever! 😉

And if anyone shows up here to offer Boxed Set advice, I will certainly be happy to get it. One good thing about self-publishing an eBook is that you can always make changes. Ya gotta love that! Have a great day, Sue.
