#Apologies – Two More #GuestDayTuesday Posts ARE Coming!!

I totally messed up in this morning’s post when I said I had no more guests scheduled this year! That was a blatant error! I do have 2 more posts already scheduled: Mike Allegra will be here on Oct 18 to celebrate the release of his new book, Sleepy, Happy Capy Cuddles. AND Jackie Lambert will be here on  Nov 15 with another Writer’s Travelogue post.

My only excuse for this mistake is that they aren’t kidding when they talk about Long COVID and brain fog. (At least, that’s what I’m going to blame for this error, rather than just general old age and incipient senility!) So sorry for the mistake, Mike and Jackie!

Folks, I know you’re going to enjoy both of these posts, so do be sure to check them out! Thanks!!

*slinking off now, in shame and embarrassment*

#Apologies fromMe and a Big #ThankYou from #Michael Thompson – #CommonplaceFunFacts

Yesterday, The Write Stuff featured a terrific blogger (Michael Thompson) and his fantastic blog, CommonplaceFunFacts. I’d like to thank everyone who posted and to apologize for the problem Michael ran into with trying to respond to comments, or even to leave one of his own. For some reason, WordPress just wouldn’t let him do either.  I still haven’t figured out what the issue is, but please rest assured that all of your comments were greatly appreciated!

Michael would like to thank each of you for taking the time to comment and for the encouragement. He hopes you all enjoy your visits to CommonplaceFunFacts, and that you find it interesting enough to warrant return visits. (I’m wagering you will, as I know I sure did!)

In the meantime, I’m going to continue to try to solve this problem, as I’d very much like to have Michael join us again for future posts now and then, and I also want him to be able to comment on any and all posts on TWS, and to be able to respond to others who enjoy his visits.( Wish me luck in solving this issue!)

And thanks again for checking out both Michael’s wonderfully entertaining post yesterday, and his equally entertaining, informative, and fun blog, too! Be sure to visit when you get a chance. You’ll be glad you did!

#Sorry – No #FirstLineFriday This Week

I hate to do this to you folks who enjoy this quiz as much as I do, but things went to a very HOT place in a hand-basket this week. I had a lovely Book Release party last Saturday (which I plan to share more about as soon as I can), but I’ve been digging my way out from under ever since. A whole lot of things happened all at once here, and I’m still trying to catch up. So, blame it totally on me, as there are, of course, many, many more wonderful first lines out there. I just didn’t get one scheduled this week.

I promise to do my best to have this feature up and running again by next Friday, if Life will just cooperate even a little. In the meantime, I will share some great Weekly Update posts with you later today, so you can be sure you haven’t missed anything great on some of my favorite blogs.

Thanks for your understanding! And I hope all of you have a wonderful Friday and an even better weekend! 🙂 ❤

New Posters: SO sorry!

I no longer receive notices when comments are waiting to be approved, so I sometimes don’t discover them for a bit. SO sorry to all you wonderful folks who commented on Judith’s guest blog yesterday. I did NOT mean to ignore any of you, honest. I think everyone has been approved now, including Judith’s responses. (Ooops.) I’ll try to do better next time, I promise!

Off for a day of fun, long overdue, with my good friend and Graphics Goddess, Nicki Forde, who does my fabulous covers for me, and my good friend and Beta reader extraordinaire, Dian. Lunch at the Cotillion Café in Wildwood (the inspiration for  my Southern Comfort Café in my Riverbend series). Pictures MIGHT be forthcoming later, if we can tear ourselves away from fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits, and Rhett Butler cake long enough to take them.  😀

Happy Saturn’s Day, everyone!
