#BlueSkiesReturn

I know some parts of the state took some hits and have various levels of damage to deal with, but we were very lucky. No trees down, no debris piled up today, and no damage in our neighborhood that I can see.

It IS blinkin’ HOT outside, though, so I’m staying inside for now. Mark is repairing a section of our stockade fence that went down, but all things considered, we came through Milton just fine, happily! I’m looking forward to cooler weather, for sure, but other than that, no complaints!

Hope all is well with all of you, too?

    • Complaining never really does any good, I suppose, but that sure doesn’t stop me from indulging in it fairly often! 😂 Glad to know you don’t have anything happening that warrants it, though. That’s great news, too! 😁❤️

    • When you’ve lived the better part of 80 years with these kinds of events happening now and then, you just learn to prepare for the worst and go on hoping for the best. We’ve been in this house for over 20 years now, and so far, so good as far as hurricanes go. This one went over us, complete with lashing rains and plenty of wind, but as I mentioned, we escaped any damage, so I’m not gonna complain at all! 😉❤️

    • It sure is, Jan! I mostly avoid going out in the sun (due to many skin cancer issues over the years), but that doesn’t mean I’m not DELIGHTED to see it again! 😁What a relief to watch that hurricane disappear over the ocean! Yay!! 😊❤️
