Just wanted to let you know that if you received a Friend Invite from me from Facebook, it probably isn’t going to work. My original account was hacked years ago, and someone pretending to be me was working through my friends list, asking folks for money. As soon as I found out, I closed the account.
I recently got the idea it would be fun to open a new account and try again, and it all went through with my new email and looked like a “Go.” So I sent out a few Friend requests. The very next day, I got a notice from FB that the new account was suspended for “Violating Facebook Standards!” I hadn’t posted a single thing, nor uploaded any pics, except the face shot of me they requested, which I guess could have violated their standards, but that’s how I look. Not much I can do about that.
As far as I can tell, the account has not gone through, and I’m NEVER, EVER trying again. Feel free to delete any friend request you may have received, and please accept my apologies!
Now back to more hurricane clean up. Debris EVERYWHERE!!! Will try to keep up with Kassandra Lamb’s #TenThings post today, if possible. It’s great having her visit again!

Hahahaha. Yes, it accepted several, but there’s NO actual page for me, other than a blank one with my name/picture on it, and I’ve been told I must file an objection within 30 days or *poof!* Gone! I’ve even tried looking up ways to appeal, but they don’t seem to exist for what happened to me, and honestly, Facebook just isn’t worth it to me. I’ll stick to my blog and emails/texts for communicating going forward. I have at least SOME control over those. So far.
Oh, and btw, the check is i n the mail! 😂😂😂

Ugh, Marcia. What a pain – when you finally got the urge to sign up again. I’m not on FB anyway. It’s too much for me. I use it to check local road conditions during the winter and that’s about all. ❤ ❤

So sorry for you, Marcia, Facebook is a weird entity! I’ve never (yet) had a problem with it, and it’s my most successful platform 🤔
Thanks for the email about it, I was in hospital at the time and although I’m just home I haven’t made it upstairs to the laptop yet to answer.

They are very hard to work with, IMHO. I use it for teaching, nothing else. You’re not missing much!

I agree, and I didn’t miss it at all for the last few years, since I closed my original account. I don’t miss it now, either, and am sorry I tried to start again. It’s not like I need more stuff to eat up my time, anyway. 😁They gave me 30 days to present “my case” to them, and I’m ignoring it, so I fully expect they will close my “new” a/c at the end of that time.
