#NewRelease – The Emissary Trilogy by … ME!

I’m happy to announce that all three of my Emissary novellas are now available in one eBook, cleverly entitled The Emissary Trilogy. If you’ve been planning to read these novellas, you can now get the three of them in one $3.99 download, essentially getting one novella free. Such a deal, right? πŸ˜€Β

Β Azrael thinks you really should add this one to your collection. (Just sayin’… ) πŸ˜€

  1. I do like a bit of instant gratification when it comes to book reading. Those ‘to be continued’ strips at the end of comic stories drove me to despair! If I hadn’t already had to undergo the torment of waiting for each of these to come out, this news would have been so welcome. I love The Emissary and now others can benefit from the novellas coming out as one, immensely satisfying trilogy. ❀

    • I try very hard to avoid “cliff hanger” endings in my series, while at the same time, setting up the next book as best I can. In other words, I wrap up the central issue in each one, and then give a hint to what’s coming in the next one. But I know what you mean, Trish. I purely hate waiting for the next book and would much rather read the entire series one after the other. I hope folks will enjoy reading the Emissary stories like that, too!

So glad you found the series a pleasure to read and liked how I wrapped it all up. πŸ˜€ THANKS!! πŸ˜€

      • You’re right! Each of these works as a standalone but I’d have loved the opportunity to keep going with them – once I find something I like, I mine it for all it’s worth! ❀

        • A reader after my own heart!! Says she as she launches into Book 6 of Monster Hunter International, unable to quit reading every spare minute. I only wanted a fantasy break for one book, before getting back to things I’ve been planning to read for some time, but as soon as I finished Book 1, I HAD to move on to Book 2, like it or not. I can’t help it. It’s like trying to eat ONE potato chip. Just not possible.

OCD about books much? Why yes. Yes, I am! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

    • Thanks, Robbie! I’m glad to offer the set this way, finally, and wish I weren’t having so much trouble formatting a print version. My book templated does NOT want me to include more than one book, so I’m still pondering how I’m going to do this. I have the print cover ready to go, and yet, I’m stuck. I got so frustrated, I stepped back for a week, but will be dealing with the problem soon, even if I have to hire someone to format it for me.

It was easy to do as an eBook, but generally, “boxed” sets of print books include three separately printed books. I know there’s a way I can do this, but so far … GAH!!

        • I may end up throwing myself on her mercy, Robbie, but I just can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. I have formatted seven print novels with no trouble at all, but I do use a pre-formatted template, and it does NOT like me adding more than one book. I haven’t given up yet, though. I want to learn how to make it work, because I might be writing some spinoff novellas from my Wake-Robin Ridge series someday, and would need to do it again. We’ll see how it goes when I sit back down to try one more time. Thanks for the suggestion, though. I AM keeping it in mind, though Harmony has plenty to do without me bugging her, so I’m going to try once more on my own first. πŸ˜€

    • Thanks, Priscilla! So happy to have this one out there as a trilogy. Still working on the print one. Turned out to be much trickier than I ever imagined, but I’m not giving up yet! πŸ˜€

    • Thanks, Joan. I’m excited to have the set out there now, at least as an eBook, though I’m having trouble formatting the print version. My template does NOT want three books inside one “print” document, so I’ll be trying Plan B soon! πŸ˜€ Fingers crossed I can do this myself, though hiring this one out is definitely an option. In the meantime, I’m happy to provide another way for folks to access these tales. πŸ™‚

  3. Congratulations, Marcia! YAY! This is wonderful news and such an achievement. I can only imagine all the hurdles you leaped to make this happen. βœ¨βœ¨πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰βœ¨βœ¨

    • Love the image of me leaping hurdles! (More like plowing straight through them via brute force.) πŸ˜€ But for sure, I don’t like to let obstacles keep me from getting where I want to go, even if it takes me longer than it used to. THANKS, Gwen! I’m very happy to have these tales out as a trilogy now, and hope some folks will be tempted to take a look. Jake, Dodger, and Azrael have a lot to say. πŸ˜€

    • Thanks, Olga! It was a labor of love as they say, though formatting the print version is a real pain in the patoot!! I’ve never tried to put 3 different books into one print template, and it is NOT cooperating! But I’m a determined soul, so I hope to have that one out soon, too! πŸ™‚

    • Thanks so much, Mae! I’ll take ’em! πŸ˜€ Seriously, I’m very happy to have this set available in a Trilogy at last, and hope to have the print version out before too much longer. (Formatting 3 books into one print version is a much different task than formatting 3 eBooks into one. Can we say “pain in the tushy” boys and girls?)

But I AM happy to offer this eBook version to those who’ve been thinking about checking out the series. Hope this will be an attractive option. πŸ™‚

    • Thanks, Teri! Hope you enjoy the Rabbit book (The Light?) and I really hope you enjoy the emissary tales when you get to them, too. They were a lot of fun to write, and now you can get the whole set in one download, and save $$ too! πŸ˜€ I’ll be eager to see what you think of them. πŸ™‚

    • Oh, that’s right, Jan. So you know how it all turns out. 😯 πŸ˜€ I’d forgotten that bit. πŸ˜‰ But thanks for your kind words, anyway. I’m happy to offer this in a complete set now. A whole LOT of stuff happened to these characters to make them what they’d become by the opening of novella #3 (Love Hurts). When you have time to check them out, I’d be interested in knowing what you think about that road they traveled (figuratively and literally) to reach that point. Thanks for stopping by today! πŸ€—

    • Thanks, Pam. I hope lots of folks will agree with you and download their copy today. πŸ˜€ Or soonish, anyway. These were such fun stories to tell, filled with laughter, tears, and love, so I’m happy to add this option for eBook readers, and will keep on trying to get the print collection out there, too. Thanks for stopping by! πŸ€—

  4. Thank you so much, Michael. I’m truly glad you enjoyed these tales. They gave me a great deal of pleasure to write, with some laughs, and some tears along the way. πŸ€—

    • Thank you so much, Toni! I’m so glad you enjoyed it, and I’m working on putting it together as a print trilogy, but it’s turning out to be harder to do than I imagined. Not ready to give up, though. Thanks so much for stopping by and taking the time to comment, too! πŸ™‚
