Love how she spends her money.

Yeah, that’s pretty much ME, without the fur coat. (Hey, it’s HOT down here in Florida). But I can so relate to the way the budget goes right out the window when books are the issue. 😀 Glad you liked it, Darnell! 🙂

Thanks, Robbie. Glad you enjoyed them. And yeah, the write’rs block one is me, in a nutshell. Everything I write is what my characters tell me, so without them, I’m pretty much wandering alone in the wilderness. 😯
Thanks for stopping by! 😀 ❤

These posts always brighten my Mondays and leave me with a smile.
Thank you, Marcia! Loved ’em!

Aw, that’s great to hear, Mae. I figure on Mondays, we need all the help we can get, right? Though I do like to post some more serious writing memes, too. But lately, I’ve been leaning way over in the direction of “We All Need a Laugh.” 😀

Thanks for these. I find myself going back to the chicken poetry and it’s funnier with each visit! xxx

That one’s probably a bit more subtle, and maybe there are those who don’t remember the “beat generation,” and their coffee house poetry, but I do. And I love it, too. Thanks for letting me know, Trish. Glad it makes you laugh. 😀 ❤

Yep, that’s where it took me! Slender people wearing black polo neck tops and reciting ‘meaningful’ poetry with pauses for emphasis. This is, of course, a shocking generalisation but that’s what I had in my head! ❤ 😀

Since the cartoon was a parody of exactly that, I think you can be forgiven for picturing it. I know that’s just what I imagined, too! 😀

Yeah, but I was wise to your game. I knew I could have said it to start with, but I thought it would be fun to see how long it took for you to set it up. 😀 😀 😀

Thanks, and the same to you, Darlene. and yep, I suspect most writers are willing to throw away great wads of cash if we get good books in return. I know I don’t even hesitate. And for me, that’s often DOUBLE money, because most of my books I want IN my physical library, and on my Kindle, too. The Kindle is far easier for me to read on and to take with me everywhere I go, but I seriously NEED to have the actual books on my shelves, as well. Especially if they have cover art I’m in love with. (Don’t tell my husband this!) 😀 ❤

That last one would so be me 🙂 And my TBR pile is so large, I don’t think I need to worry about having abibliophobia any time soon 😀

I’m betting most of us are safe from ever catching abibliophobia, while at the same time being in serious danger of throwing heaps of money into the air in a bookstore. We can’t help it, can we? Must be in our genes. 😀
Thanks for stopping by today, Jeanne. 🙂 ❤

Glad you enjoyed them, Norah. I thought there were a couple of gems there, and I too, liked typoman writing wrongs, and chicken poetry. That one makes me LOL every single time I read it. 🙂 ❤

Glad you got a laugh from them, Harmony. I think all of us can identify with the crazed book buyer. We’ll go without a lot of things to feed our reading habit, for sure! 😀 And thanks for sharing this, too! 🙂 ❤

Glad you enjoyed them, Sally. And I love the chicken one, too. I can just see the little “beat” coffee house, full of smoke and an audience snapping their fingers in appreciation of the chicken’s words. 😀 (Been there, seen that.) 😀 ❤ (Well, except for the chicken part, of course. More like guys with scraggly goatees, wearing ripped t-shirts and jeans.)
