Help! My interview is nigh! #POW2 and #KindleCountdown #sale

Don’t forget Deborah Jay has an interview coming up very soon, and to coincide with that, her book Desprite Measures is on sale via Kindle Countdown. For more info, check out her post! This should be fun! Good luck, Debbie! 🙂

A couple weeks ago I posted about THE POWER OF WRITING telesummit.

Did you join up? Remember, it’s FREE…

It’s into the last week now, but I thought I’d give you a reminder as my interview goes out this week – tomorrow, in fact (Tuesday), and you can still sign up (free, remember?) if you want to hear my story in my own words.

Frankly, I’m nervous. Our own voice never sounds like we imagine it to, does it?

Plus, I’ve been listening to all the other interviews, and I’m now wondering what I said! It was a one hour interview and though I can remember enjoying doing it, and talking a lot (I can do that), I have very little memory of what we talked about!

Anyway, in case you’d like to join, here’s that link again: https://thepowerofwritingsummit.com/o/deborah/

It’s FREE…

Also, to coincide, I have put DESPRITE MEASURES on…

  1. One of the advantages of being a writer is that nobody has to see or hear us – I wonder if soon we will all be avatars with artificial voices – then I would be brave enough to do an interview!

    • You are right, Janet. We can be as invisible as Salinger, or as “out there” as an A-list celebrity, or anything in between. For myself, there is nothing I love more than meeting with readers at various venues or private book clubs. It’s an uplifting experience that inspires me to go home and “write like the wind!” 😀 But watching myself on video would be painfully hard for me. Thankfully, there are those like Debby who can pave the way with all these new ways to connect with readers. We should all watch and learn, cheer authors like Debby on, and seriously consider taking part, ourselves. (Nice to see you here today! 🙂 ❤ )
