Just a reminder for those of you in the central Florida area. I will be giving a presentation tomorrow at the Enterprise Heritage Center and Museum (information below), along with wildlife photographer Doug Little. Doug’s work has been on display at the museum all month, and if you haven’t yet checked it out, you really should stop by for that alone, though I hope you’ll stay for the show. It’s an overview of my brand new wildlife series, and features even more of Doug’s work. I’d love to see YOUR smiling face in the audience, getting a sneak peek of the various topics I’ll be focusing on over the months ahead .
Doug and I will both be happy to answer your questions on Florida wildlife, and we will be available afterward to sign books (me) or calandars (Doug.) This program is free, though donations to the museum are always gratefully accepted. No reservations required, either. Join us for a fun afternoon, with lots of time for Q&A! 🙂
When: 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 28
Where: Enterprise Heritage Center and Museum, 360 Main St, Enterprise, FL 32725
Phone: (386) 259-5900
Tri-colored Heron (background) and Little Blue Heron (foreground).
Hope you get a fine audience and enjoy.

Thanks, Lynn! I hope we do, as well. And I hope I don’t do a faceplant in the middle of it all. 😯 I’m feeling pretty good, but my energy level has a way to go yet, plus I had trouble sleeping last night, for some reason. But I’m wide awake now, and eager to get back into the world, so that should carry me through. I want folks to enjoy this! It’s jammed packed with some of Doug’s best photos, and lots of teasers as to what the overall series will be featuring. Will try to get some photos for you guys, but I usually get so involved in the process, I forget about taking them. 🙂

I hope the presentation is fun and well-attended. I wouldn’t mind being in Florida about now. 🙂

It was a LOT of fun, and I’m already looking forward to the next one. It’s blinkin’ HOT down here, though. 85 degrees today, 86 tomorrow, 90 by Friday! And it’s still APRIL!! Arrrggggghhhh. I’ll soon be a prisoner inside the a/c!! 😯 I need a mountain cabin! With a cold stream burbling across the back yard, and deep woods on each side! Yeah, that’s the ticket! 😀

I have the mountain cabin, but it’s stuck in the 50’s right now with a couple more months of rain. 🙂 We’re swimming in slugs – they love it! Ha ha. I’m glad the presentation was a blast. 🙂

I actually Like 50/60 degree weather best of all, and I don’t mind rain TOO much, but I’ll pass on the Slug Fest, thanks! 😀 Eeewww. Down here, we are already overrun with lubber grasshoppers which strip plants down to bare stems like a horde of locusts! GACK! But slugs have a higher Ick Factor! 😀
