My lovely, little flash collection is here!
On the Edge of a Raindrop is now available in eBook.
As I mentioned in my post, Hinting at Happiness: “Good flash fiction packs a punch. It heightens emotional responses, engages readers, makes them think…and keeps them thinking.”
I hope to engage readers this way with a glimpse of lives on the edge.
Thanks to all my amazing tweeps, lovely blogging friends, and fellow writers who supported and encouraged me. You are, all of you, awesome. ❤
Blurb for On the Edge of a Raindrop:
WHEN YOU’RE ON THE EDGE, IT’S EASY TO FALL
These are stories of lives on the edge.
A girl tortured by the world within her. A boy powerless to escape his home. A mother doomed to live with her greatest mistake. A man lost in a maze of grief.
Each raindrop provides a microscopic mirror of ourselves and…

Yes, well, isn’t that lovely. A typo in my “Hey, no, really, I AM a writer” comment. *sigh*

It was too good not to share! Good lucky with your promo, too! 🙂 ❤

I do that all the time, Sarah. If you can correct comments on Facebook, why can’t you do it on WordPress, too? 😦 But don’t worry. Most of us “edit” as we ready, anyway. We fully understand typos! 🙂

You are such a wonderful person. Who would add typos for a fellow (embarrassed) blogger? You are the bee’s knees. ❤ And thank you!

Greater love hath no writer than he (or she) would toss in a typo to make others feel better! I read that somewhere. Oh. I think it was here. (Who but I would say something so silly?) 😀

*looks around* I have no idea. But we should find said person and tell him (or her) it’s a great quote.

I do, too. 😉 It’s an amazing form, isn’t it? On the Edge of a Raindrop is free for a few more days. Hope you grab a copy! Have a lovely Sunday.

It was a new genre for me, even a couple of months ago, but I like it now. It’s sort of like the prose version of haiku. 😀 And done right, as Sarah does it, it’s surprisingly powerful. 🙂

It is a form that takes some getting used to, I think. It would be odd to go from reading epic 700-page novels to this and immediately take to it. I like your description. Flash (and micro) can be like poetic prose almost. And it can definitely be powerful. (I’m so glad you think mine can be.) *huge introverted awkward hug* ❤

I’ll take that hug and raise you two more. Mine are mostly NOT introverted, though I can be shy-ish and awkward if I’m not comfortable with someone. But not with YOU, of course. Because you’ve already got that covered, so I’m free to be the extrovert! 😀 We’d be perfect BFFs! 😀
Your work is beautiful, Sarah. Don’t you worry on that score. And I’ve figured out I can enjoy it in smaller bites that don’t have to interfere with my 700 page epics. See? Perfect! 😀 ❤

Eek! I missed the notifications for these. Sorry! Well, if we’re headed straight to BFF, let’s skip the shy crap and introverted mess and head straight for “Here’s the chocolate. Pass the wine.” ❤ And thank you for your lovely comment. Really gave me a smile.

Tis the season to be . . . busy, and I’m behind on all my blogging, myself, so I wasn’t worried. (That either makes me a very good, trusting BFF, or one who’d let you be lying on the kitchen floor for three days before she checked to find out where you’d been lately. 😯 )
You’re welcome, and I’m glad it made you smile! 😀 Now when you’re finished with that wine bottle . . . . .
