So excited to find Deborah Jay’s lovely review of The Emissary awaiting me this morning. It made my day to read her comments, and I’m hoping you guys will check it out, too, and share all over creation! With no time to market this one (so far), your help getting the word out would mean the world to me. Thanks, and my heartfelt thanks to Debby, too! ❤
Just a quick post today – I am winding up my annual holiday so I’m exhausted! Now I need a holiday to recover…
So a quickie review. My friend Marcia has gone a little further off the beaten track than she usually does, and ventured further into a delightful paranormal story, a novella spin off from her Riverbend series.

An angel’s work is never done—that’s part of the gig. But angels hadn’t been created to deal with such a vastly over-populated planet, rife with misery, suffering, and general chaos. Helping souls in peril has become a nearly impossible job, and even angelic tempers are frayed.
The archangel Azrael has had enough. He believes he’s found a way to ease their burden while saving jeopardized humans, too—hired help.

Well, there ARE a few who haven’t read it yet. A few MILLION!! 😀 😀 😀 But in all seriousness and gratitude, I’m very happy every single time someone tells me they enjoyed this one, and so far, the comments have been great. I just can’t wait to get back with the second one, but I need to tell folks about Rabbit’s latest adventure, first. Spooky doin’s on Wake-Robin Ridge, for sure! Thanks, Darlene!!

Thanks, Pam! I was pretty happy to see it today. Last week was brutal, and it was a Monday Morning Treat, for sure, especially coming from a fellow writer, who really knows her fantasy. 🙂 I need to get busy promoting this book, and I’ve got some new “tools” to help me do a better job of it, I think. And glad you think it was a great story, too. 😀 ❤

Thanks, Don. It’s always a good feeling to get such a nice one from a fellow writer, and as a fully-fledged fantasy writer, Debby’s thoughts were especially important to me. It’s her genre, after all, even though my novella is probably more urban fantasy than epic. I was very happy to read she enjoyed it.

Hope you’ll enjoy it, Deb. As I keep saying, it was the most fun I’ve had writing, I think, and I pretty much have a good time with writing, like ALWAYS. 😀 But something about this story just made it fly off my fingertips. And I liked being there when all the magic happened. 😀
