I’ve wondered about this very thing, and now I get it. Check out Sarah’s post on how to embed a tweet in your WordPress blog, and then, click the link to another of her posts about why you’d want to. Majorly cool info here, and I’m definitely going to give this a try! (Don’t forget to share!)
Tweets aren’t just for Twitter anymore.
Here’s a neat thing you can do with those tweets right here on your WordPress blog. It’s wicked cool. And easy. 3 steps…done.
All of you lovely bloggers know I’m not a techie but I wanted to share this fun find with you.
I have visuals, too, which is awesome. Admittedly, I went a bit bonkers with the arrows but…you get the point. (I know. I’m hilarious.)
First we’re going old school with a “cut and paste” URL option, then we’ll embed an html code like we know what we’re doing.
No need to hurt your eyes squinting at the screenshots—you can click to enlarge them. Let’s get tweeting on our blogs.
Copy Link Option:
STEP ONE:
Choose the tweet you want. Click on the cute, little grey v-shaped thingy in the top, right corner.
STEP TWO:

Thanks for sharing this, Marcia. 🙂 Looking forward to seeing what you do with an embedded-tweet post. A poll? Some silly fun? It’s awesome to reach two audiences with one post (if bloggers interact with the tweets). 😉

I don’t know for sure how I’m going to use this, but I am getting ready to do some updating of my metadata, etc, and will be having some promos soon, so I might start with that, then branch into some fun stuff. But I’m sure I’m going to enjoy it. THANKS for your most excellent (and very amusing) posts! 😀 ❤

That’ll probably be me, too, Deb! But I’m hoping to start something akin to normal life again this week, and part of that is going to include more blogging. AND I’m at least going to give this a TRY! Maybe even twice! 😀

I think you should. And I will try better to remember to use it too. Let’s see who complies first, lol. 🙂 xx

Roofers tromping around overhead today, taking measurements and writing things down. And this morning, we delivered the Honda to the body shop, where it will remain for somewhere between 3 and 4 WEEKS while being repaired and repainted. So, back to no car for me until somewhere around Thanksgiving. Ack. BUT, things are getting done, and I swear I’m going to update everyone soon. I’ve got some pretty interesting pics to share. 😀

Well, I’m glad things are in motion. No car means stay home and write. 🙂 Before you know it, it will be Thanksgiving. Looking forward to your updates. 🙂 x
