Especially dachshunds. They have to be the most hard-headed, stubborn dogs on the planet! Good thing even the standard sized ones are still relatively small. And my little guys only weigh 10 pounds, so I can pick ’em up and MAKE them do what I say. 😀

I knew nothing about dogs when I was young but a school friend, a solitary girl had a dog, a dachshund. No body loved a dog as much as she did hers–more than people. I always wondered what was wrong in her life. Never found out. ❤ ❤

Dogs can do that to you. Cats, too. I love both, but I’m not doing any more dogs when these guys are gone. Too old to train another one, and so much more work. Cats are easier, plus I don’t think I could bear a house that didn’t have one or two cats curled up somewhere. They are the picture of contentment, to me. 🙂

Dachshunds are nothing, if not determined. Okay, they’re also opinionated, hard-headed, stubborn, loud, and very, very funny. It’s that last one that wins over so many hearts. 🙂

This sums up Dachshunds to a T. Mine is the most stubborn little dog i’ve ever come across- and he’s only 6 months old!

Oh, you have a LIFETIME of stubborn ahead of you! 🙂 Mine are just incorrigible little brats! They are plenty smart, but that’s the problem. They’re convinced they know more than you, and it should be done their way. 😀 Ya gotta love ’em, though. They’re just so SAUSAGEY and cute! 😉
