Going to have Thanksgiving dinner with my friend (and cover designer) Nicki and her family tomorrow. In case I don’t get a chance before we head out, I wanted to wish every one of you a wonderful Thanksgiving. May you be surrounded by those you love, and may you remember to tell them so! May you be grateful for all the good things that have come into your life this year, and forget about the bad ones. And may you and your family be blessed through the holidays and all the way through 2017, too.

I don’t think I put my feet up, until I went to bed last night, but I sure as heck enjoyed the day. Thanksgiving at Nicki’s house is a real treat, in every way! 🙂

I can honestly say this is the first time in my life I’ve ever received Thanksgiving wishes from Romania. How wonderful is the internet? And thank you, Carmen. I love any celebration that reminds people to be grateful for what they have. And has turkey and pumpkin pie involved. 😀

Easier day than usual for me, since I’m not cooking anything but the mashed potatoes and gravy, and stuffed pears, but tomorrow, we start putting up our Christmas lights, and THAT is a lot of work. I love it, though! 🙂

How sweet, Evelyn, and SO nice to hear from you. I’ve been feeling very guilty these days because I’m so terribly far behind on my reviews, and your book is one of the ones I’ve been trying to get to. You were so nice to send me a copy, and I’m happy to know you haven’t written me off as a totally lost cause for not getting it read and reviewed yet. I’m going to do better, as soon as I finish my WIP, I swear! I’m just so far behind on it, as well, that I haven’t been reading/reviewing as I’d like.
I am likewise thankful for you and all the wonderful friends I’ve made since I started this journey into the world of writers. And our day yesterday was just wonderful! So nice to share good food with GREAT friends! Truly, a blessing beyond words! Hope your day was lovely, too!

It was a super day, Sarah! Loads of laughs, delicious food, and good friends. Couldn’t ask for another thing (well, maybe a grandkid or two at the table, but we’re hoping that will happen at Christmas!)
