Thanks, Callum! I just got back from tweeting your sale of Seeking Solace. (Why don’t you post here, with a link?) I’m looking forward to this tour, and I’d really love to see Doug & Jeanne’s boat FULL to capacity! 🙂

Great! Yes, the boat tour will be so much fun, if we can get a good group together. I have several other local presentations coming up, including a self-publishing workshop for beginners, but the boat rides are just so special! I’m really looking forward to them. When you visit Florida, you’ll have to plan to go on one. 🙂

I am so sorry for my long absence, Marcia. It’s hard to write and be social and I’m sure I’m not the only one thinking that our blogs and social networking take so much time from our creative time. But I still read your posts and this one is so tempting. It’s a great idea to combine a book tour and a nature expedition, and I hope that many will take the opportunity to join you. Best to you and your work.

No apologies necessary, Evelyne! Believe me, I understand how social media eats into your writing time. I just hired a Virtual Assistant to take on some of mine, and I’m still behind! Glad you are still reading, though, and the idea for the tours came directly from Captain Jeanne Bell & Doug Little, who run the eco tours that inspired my books. They have been so supportive of Swamp Ghosts, and have even included a fun mini-presentation on their regular tours, where Doug hams it up, telling everyone he’s the inspiration for my Viking hero in the book. The tour is just beautiful and always interesting. You never know what you are going to see on the river, from alligators, to manatees, to birds of all kinds, to snakes, deer, raccoons, and more.
Nice to hear from you, and thanks for stopping by today!
