If we are going to help each other get the word out, we need to be willing to Tweet, post on Facebook, or Reblog each other’s posts. If you enjoy a post or learn something new from it, please share it. It takes only a second to get the drop down menu from the Share Button on the Comments Page. Send these wonderful posts out into the world. And most especially, please Tweet any promotional posts to all your friends and followers. Then, when you have a promotion, the rest of us will do the same for you. We can make a difference!
Remember, it’s Writers Helping Writers here. Spread the word. You’ll be glad you did. π (You could start with Aimee Easterling’s post about her newest book. She won’t forget you when it’s your turn.)
Have a great day, you folks!

Thanks for the reminder, because Twitter isn’t one of my major tools and I sometimes forget about it. Retweeted Aimee’s release announcement just now!

Thanks, Jen! I know what you mean. Blogging is the only social media I actually enjoy. Well, except for Pinterest, which is the crack cocaine of social media. π― But Tweeting is a good way to put your work in front of lot of people, as quickly as possible. You can also reblog, post on Facebook, Tumblr, or any other media you prefer. It ALL helps get the word out. And for sure, we’ll do it for you. Well, *I* will, anyway, and then I’ll beat everyone else about the head and shoulders with a stout stick until they do, as well. π π π

Normally, I tend to reblog with wordpress. WordPress has the feature of pushing content into twitter. Is this a good idea to do so?

I don’t know about WordPress pushing stuff into Twitter. Will have to check on that and get back to you. But ANY sharing you want to do works for me. And Reblogging is something I do often, too, so I think everyone will be happy to have you do that, as well. However you’d like to pass things on is GOOD! π Thanks so much, Tienny! And nice to see you here today.

Well reminded.
I have my own WP blog linked to my twitter feed, facebook page and google+ – that way every time I put up a blog post it gets put out on those feeds immediately.
All other shares always very welcome too – I’ve done the last couple on here now π

Hi, Deborah! I had my WP account set to publish all posts on Facebook, though I never tried the others. However, after working properly for several years, it now indicates that the posts are from my gardening blog! What the heck? And I can’t find a way to fix that. I guess I need to get into the guts of it and figure it all out.
Any and all sharing you can do here for authors with news/promos, or of posts you find helpful, will be greatly appreciated. And we will be sure to share YOUR news, as well, wherever we can. I’m really pleased at how quickly the blog is growing, and with the quality of the posts we’ve gotten from our members. There’s no stopping us now. π
