A most remarkable thing happened on Thursday.
For those who weren’t aware (like me), Thursday was the official
International Day of Awesomeness.
While I may have been oblivious about this day,
the good folks over at Story Empire were not!
Nope. These wonderfully talented and sharing authors decided to celebrate the day in grand style by letting the world know exactly who they thought deserved to be honored in all her awesomeness:
Now, I can’t speak for everyone, but I suspect that most of us who spend a lot of time blogging and/or writing are very familiar with Sally and her fabulous Smorgasbord blog, and have probably been the beneficiaries of her support and encouragement many times. I know I certainly have! And if you missed out on all of these great tributes to this lovely lady, I do hope you’ll stop by her blog to read her post about how she spent her Thursday, and what it meant to her.
You can read Sally’s post (and find links to each Story Empire post) HERE.
Sally, I hope you continue to feel the love for a long, long time. You deserve it my friend! And as always, never forget YOU ROCK!
And once again it’s time to share Sally Cronin’s fabulous Weekly Round Up post. Since I’m still on my blogging break, I’ve missed most of these, but I did sneak a peek at the videos of the laughing baby and the dogs going to the vet. Hilarious! Hope those of you who may have missed some posts will stop by and take a look. As always, there’s something for everyone!

You’ll be glad you did! 😀
Today, I’m absolutely thrilled to be part of one of Sally Cronin’s newest features, Sharing an Excerpt from a Previous Book. I hope you’ll stop by and check out the excerpt I’ve chosen, part of the Prologue from my second book, Swamp Ghosts. It was a trip to write this scene, and I hope you’ll enjoy it. But rest assured, the entire book is not a walk through this guy’s mind. It’s an introduction to a small, Florida town, filled with mostly friendly, though often eccentric folks, who have no idea what’s lurking in the shadows. And oh, yeah, there IS a love story, too, as the wonderful review Sally included mentions.
Hope you’ll head over and see for yourself, and will remember that this is an offer open to all, as well. Sally includes instructions on how to submit YOUR own excerpt from an older book, and you really should take advantage of the opportunity.
My heartfelt thanks to Sally for all she does to help us promote our work! And to see what’s afoot in Riverbend via her wonderful post, click HERE.
Check out this week’s Weekly Round-Up post from Sally Cronin’s fabulous Smorgasbord blog. SO much going on over there, you really must take a look. There’s sure to be something that entertains you, whether it’s the great selection of music and videos, or the many writers and bloggers featured for the week. (Yeah, okay, I’m one of them, but honestly, it would have still be super week even without my small contribution. Some of my very favorite folks are included in the mix! 😀 )
