Welp, yesterday went pretty easily, all things considered, if you like lying on an examination table in a darkened room, while some vampire … er, I mean total stranger … pokes around on your neck for what seems like an hour or two, listening to your arteries.  I guess I shouldn’t complain. Compared to some exams I’ve had over the years, it really wasn’t too bad. Now, if only the results turn out okay, I reckon I’ll be a happy camper.  

On September 6, I go back for an “Echo Complete,” some basic imaging which shouldn’t be too difficult to endure, and then it’s a matter of finding out what my doctor will make of the results. (Hopefully, I won’t need to have any dire procedures done.)

The fun thing is looking at my upcoming medical appointments: 
9/6: Echo
9/9: LabCorp blood work
9/13: Annual Check Up with Primary Care doctor
9/30: Dermatology appointment (Florida is surely the skin cancer capital of the world, and I have the scars to prove it!)
10/8: Regular Dental Check Up
10/31: Eye exam

Urk. 🙄 

Somewhere in between all those appointments, I’m supposed to be living a LIFE! Family, friends, blogging, possibly writing, etc, etc, etc. All things considered, though, I should be very, very grateful. I’m not doing too badly for someone my age, I reckon, and I still manage to enjoy each day to the fullest! (Mostly.) 😉😁 Anyway, if I’m MIA a bit more than usual, you’ll understand why. 

How about you guys? Life treating you pretty well of late? I sure hope so! As they used to say in some TV commercial or another, “You only go around once. Grab all the Gusto you can!” (That’s my story, an’ I’m stickin’ to it!)
