… it will be because we’ve lost power for a bit. They are laying some new lines through our yard and our neighbor’s, and so far, we are still okay, but they’ve warned us we will probably lose power for an hour or two this afternoon as they hook up all the new stuff.
But never fear! In Arnie’s famous words … “Ah’ll be BAHCK!”
Probably.

Fingers crossed if it does cut out, it returns swiftly! 😀 ❤

Thanks, Trish. It shouldn’t be too long, and it will be good to have it back restored correctly, instead of the temporary hook-up we’ve had for weeks! 😀

Losing power for an hour is better than losing it for a day! Lots of luck!

Definitely, Darnell! And it will be good to have it restored properly, instead of the temporary “fix” they put in place weeks ago. So what if they’ve dug up my whole garden in the process. I was ready to make some changes, anyway, and now I have a good reason to do so. 😀 And thanks for the good luck wishes, too!

Isn’t it amazing how we writers are always tackling tech issues? It’s kinda funny. We have a love/hate relationship with it — I’m mostly in the later category.🙄 I hope you don’t lose power, but if you do, I know you’ll find fun things to do around the house or in the yard.

Thank goodness I have a husband who’s quite at home with tech issues, Gwen. I’m sure at a loss when anything goes wrong, and I hate when it’s something that has to be fixed by “outsiders” like the power company, instead of Mark who is much faster at taking care of things than they are.
Believe it or not, it’s pretty chilly here today. (Enough so that I had to dig out my one old sweater and am even wearing it inside, so I don’t have to turn on the heat long enough to take the chill off.) It rained for two straight days and nights, but as soon as the sun really starts beaming down again, it will warm up very quickly, and I’ll be missing the cooler temps. 😀 ❤

Thanks, Kymber. So far, so good … but then again, all the workers have gone to lunch, so I guess we’ll be safe at least until they return. 😀

I hope all goes well, Marcia. Wouldn’t that be “shocking?” 😀

*head slap, and a groan here*😁 But yes, it would be “shocking” indeed! Still … I’d rather be stunned by surprise than sitting in the dark. We’ll see how it goes when they return from their lunch break. 😀

Thanks, Denise. That’s exactly what I’m hoping, too, though I’m braced for whatever might come. 😀

Happily, it’s quite cool here today. (I’m actually wearing my only sweater!) We’ll be okay temperature wise during any outage this afternoon, but I’ll miss being able to get on the computer. Thankfully, I have my Kindle fully charged, so I can read with or without electricity, at least for a few hours. (And they better NOT shut us off for that long, or I will be exceedingly grumpy, and they will KNOW it. 😂)

Thanks, HHL. So far, so good, but they are coming back today to do some more work, so I’ve still got my fingers crossed. 😀
