#HappySt.Patrick’sDay – #MIAToday – #GettingOlder&Older

#

Just a quick note to wish you all a happy St. Paddy’s Day, and let you know that I won’t be around much, if at all. It just so happens that I was born 79 years ago today, and I’ve decided that’s reason enough to take a day off from the computer, writing, blogging, and the whole shebang. Might even get outside somewhere GREEN, like … Green Springs, a spot I’ve been wanting to visit for some time, and so VERY appropriate for today. (Weather depending.) I’ll be around a bit over the weekend and back to my usual tricks on Monday. For now, a couple more memes to amuse you, as you enjoy this day.

(You’ve Been Warned!)

And I think that’s about all the GREEN jokes we need for now!
Have a wonderful day, Everybody, whether you like green beer or Irish coffee, or just enjoy dancing a jig now and then,
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

    • Thanks so much, Trish, and we’re at that time of year when it can be over 90 one day and only get up to 65 the next, so summer/spring mixing it up. Still, we had sunny skies and a fun outing. 😀 ❤

    • How fortuitous that you wore green! I don’t have any Irish ancestors that I’m aware of, but when you’re BORN on St. Patrick’s Day, it gives you special dispensation! 😀 Thanks for the birthday wishes! 😀 ❤

    • I WAS thinking that before I read that I was officially consider elderly at 80. I couldn’t believe it, so I looked it up, and it appears we are considered Senior Citizens at 62, and ELDERLY at 65!!!!!!!!!!!! What???? I’ve been elderly for 14 years and didn’t know it?? 😲
I have only one thing to say to that: Elderly, Schmelderly!!! I refuse to to accept that designation until I’m at least well into my 90s! So there!

In the meantime, I’m having fun, especially on my birthday! And thanking my lucky starts for good friends like you! 🤗💖🤗

    • So good to hear from you, Jackie! Yes, I had a great day, and am trying not to mind that this is my LAST year in my 70s! (How did this happen?) 😀 And on the plus side, I’ve started working on my WIPs again and hope to have something to post soon for any readers who are still interested. (Crossing my fingers you haven’t all given up on me.) I’d really like to finish the CC&D novella, and I’m even considering working on Riverbend #4 again. We’ll see how it goes.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, and stay tuned for possible updates on CC&D over the next week or so. Have a great week, my friend! 😀 ❤

    • Yep! “Another year older and deeper in debt.” (You probably don’t remember Tennessee Ernie Ford, but I’m old enough to have watched his tv show every week. Gulp. That’s OLD!)

And don’t worry. Belated wishes are just as nice as any other, so thank you so much for sending yours along! 😀 ❤
