Cannot believe it is Christmas Day next Wednesday and the time has flown by since that first sight of Christmas decorations in the supermarket in the first week of September!!! Clearly all the government health advice, sugar tax (here in Ireland) has flown out of the window as you can get two tins of Quality street for a tenner.. and even cheaper elsewhere.. I will give them kudos for also dropping the cost of Brussel Sprouts, but for many that incentive is required.. who needs one to buy a tin of Quality Street!!! I don’t, as on my naughty list every year whatever the price!

Amen to that! Always good stuff on Smorgasbord, and her weekly round-ups make it possible to catch up on busier than usual weeks. (Or in my case, months, though I’m hoping for my normal schedule to become manageable again as my health improves and I dig myself out of this trench I tumbled into.)
