One of the advantages of being a writer is that nobody has to see or hear us – I wonder if soon we will all be avatars with artificial voices – then I would be brave enough to do an interview!

You are right, Janet. We can be as invisible as Salinger, or as “out there” as an A-list celebrity, or anything in between. For myself, there is nothing I love more than meeting with readers at various venues or private book clubs. It’s an uplifting experience that inspires me to go home and “write like the wind!” 😀 But watching myself on video would be painfully hard for me. Thankfully, there are those like Debby who can pave the way with all these new ways to connect with readers. We should all watch and learn, cheer authors like Debby on, and seriously consider taking part, ourselves. (Nice to see you here today! 🙂 ❤ )

Hey Marcia, thanks for reblogging!
I’m up to my ears in work today so you’ve saved me a job I meant to do and then promptly forgot about – namely, posting on your site 😀

I’m glad it was helpful for you, Debby! I wanted to be sure folks remembered about this, but I had a feeling you were probably swamped. Hope you have a great turnout! 🙂 ❤
