Just a reminder for those of you in the Central Florida area. This Saturday (7/28), at 1:00pm, I’ll be giving a Central Florida’s Fabulous Wildlife slide presentation on Herons & Egrets. Hope you’ll join me to learn more about these wonderful wading birds of ours.
Where: Enterprise Heritage Center & Museum, 360 Main St, Enterprise, FL 32725, (386) 259-5900
FREE, With Donations gratefully accepted. No Reservations Required.
Would LOVE to see you there!
Also, just want to let you know I’ll probably be MIA around here off and on for the next week, as my daughter and the kidlets will be paying a visit. I’ve got the #ShareAReviewDay posts scheduled, and there will probably be a few posts by other contributors, so TWS won’t be completely abandoned while I’m away. I’ll also try to keep track of any email, and I’ll be back to the blog before you know it!
Really now. Who could resist spending a few days with these guys?
(And yes, I do need to talk to their mom about all this photo manipulation!)
😀 😀 😀
If you are in the area this coming Saturday, 2/10/18, I will be at DeBary Hall, presenting the first of my series, “Central Florida’s Fabulous Wildlife,” featuring the area’s most famous–or infamous–animal, the American Alligator. The presentation starts at 1:00pm. I have lots of information and a ton of great slides to share with you. Join us for what I hope will be the first of many entertaining, interesting, and informative wildlife talks. And there will be plenty of time for Questions and Answers, too.
The event is FREE, no reservation required. All you have to do is show up prepared to enjoy yourself. 🙂
Hope to see YOUR smiling face in the audience!

One last reminder that I will be hosting a Central Florida’s Fabulous Wildlife presentation at DeBary Hall tomorrow afternoon, along with my very special guest, wildlife photographer Doug Little. This will be an introductory overview of my new, bi-monthly series, and I hope you’ll stop by to help kick things off. The series presentations will each focus on a different animal, or group of related animals, and I’m really excited about this opportunity to share photography and information on the critters that call the St. Johns River basin home.
Tomorrow’s presentation will be a teaser of the type of things to come, and a chance for you to ask questions and have some input into the things you’d like to see at future events. Doug will have his brand new 2018 calendars along, available for purchase and signing. And of course, I’ll have my books along, as well.
Hope to see YOUR smiling face in the audience tomorrow at 2:00pm! FREE, No Reservations Required!
