I’m planning to make this. Mark can build almost anything, and I think if you collected some old books, you could do it. I think you’d want to drill a hole through each one, then thread them onto a “pipe” of some sort that was screwed to the base, arrange as you like, perhaps gluing each book in place, and attach the top. With or without the decoupage element. Voila. Book table. 😀
