While it’s true no one can stop you from being happy, someone or something can sure put a damper on it. Been there.

Oh, for sure, they can sling things at you that mess up your day, but Happy lasts a lot longer than that, and if you want it bad enough, you’ll make your way to it, step by step. I absolutely believe no one can keep you down, unless you give them permission to do so. It’s just a harder battle some days (weeks, months) than others. But Happy is worth the journey. (And attitude is everything.) I’ve been there, too, but refused to settle for misery. Is my life perfect? Nuh-uh. But it IS happy, most of the time, and that works for me.
