Found some scans of our wedding pictures on the bridge I shared with you yesterday and figured I’d share them, so you’d know we really were married there. Would you believe we don’t look a BIT different today??? (*snort!*)

Waiting on the Justice of the Peace to arrive, with Jason and Erin (who are ALSO 38 years younger than they are today. 😀 ) I don’t know why I’m caught so often with my eyes closed, but oh, well. 😀

Here we are with Mark’s mother, and my grandmother. Both of them have passed on now, so it’s nice that I have some pics with them included.
I have more around here somewhere, but that would be overkill, so I’ll leave you with these, and again, it was so much fun to visit this spot for our 38th anniversary yesterday.

Nice to see!

Thanks, John. I can’t believe we’ve been married that long, but then, when I look in the mirror, I don’t doubt it for a minute. 😀

Glad you enjoyed the pics, Nancy. I’m still having trouble accepting just how much time has passed. 😀

These are precious photos!
My dear husband actually still fits the suit he wore for his job interview a year before we married 34 years ago. I’m not jealous, no, not at all. Ahem.🙂

I know how you feel, Priscilla. My hubby hasn’t gained a pound, either. I sure wish I could say the same. 😀

I’m glad you found them! Such memories should always be cherished. Thank goodness photography was invented.

Amen to that, Debby! Nothing like coming across some old pictures to take you on a trip down Memory Lane, right? Somehow I ended up with huge boxes full of photos, though. I have every photo I ever took, every photo my mother ever took, and every photo my grandmother ever took. I’m supposed to be organizing them. Urk. If I don’t start soon, they’ll all get passed along to my kids, and they’ll be mad at me forever. 😀

Oh they would indeed! But think of the memory trip you can take while sorting them out ❤️

It will be something, I’m sure. It will bring up all sorts of memories of special times and more. I really need to get started on it SOON!! 😀

Aw, thanks, Mae! I think we were both pretty happy. We’d been together four years before deciding to make it official, so we were pretty sure it was what we wanted. And I do remember how beautiful and special the day was, and how even the JP was impressed with the setting. It was fun visiting there Wednesday for our anniversary! 😀 ❤

Thanks for such nice compliments, Darlene, and nope … no competition. But we’ll get to 47 before we know it, I’m sure. In the blink of an eye, as it sometimes feels when we celebrate anniversaries and birthdays. 😀 ❤
