Happy St. Patrick’s Day, Everyone!

I may not be around much today, as believe it or not, I woke up this morning only to realize I’d turned a year older overnight! 😮 Decided then and there, I would celebrate this event with loads of shamrocks, Irish music, and whatever the heck else I felt like doing!  But before I run off and act even more bizarre than usual, here are a couple of very green laughs for you:

And now, I’m off to sit in the Comfy Chair and read all day long, if I want!
(They don’t call me wild for nothin’, you know!) Hope your day is a happy one, with leprechauns around every corner!

And remember:

  1. Thank you for that blast of Irish shenanigans, Marcia. I’m hoisting a mug of green beer (well, virtual anyway) to wish you a Happy St. Patrick’s Day and the happiest of birthdays! BIG HUGS, my friend! ❤️💕😊🍀☘️🤗🤗🤗🤗

    • You got that right, Sharon. You know, when I was growing up, we never lived anywhere that had parades on St. Paddy’s Day. I saw my first one when I was in my 20s and visiting Pittsburgh. I was astonished! It was HUGE, and I LOVED that folks were having a parade in honor of the day on which I was born. Since then, St. Paddy’s Day parades have become much more widespread, and I still love them just as much!

Thanks for the birthday wishes! 😀 ❤

    • Thanks so much, Olga. That’s just what I did, and while it seemed very strange to be lounging about doing nothing, I do think I could get used to more days like that now and then. 😀 ❤

    • Thanks, Trish! I did a good bit of reading and not much else, except for a wonderful Zoom chat with Erin & the grandkids.

Mark is home for a 3-day weekend, so I think I’ll make up for it this afternoon. Lunch out, plant shopping, and whatever else strikes my fancy. 😀 ❤

    • I have no Irish family history that I know of, Gwen, but I but I was a “green” baby, so that gives me an extra boost of pride on St. Paddy’s Day. Glad you enjoyed the memes, too, and thanks so much for stopping by! 🤗💖

    • Thanks, Pete! I’ve always loved celebrating mine on St. Patrick’s Day, Pete. It just adds another layer of fun. Besides, it looks like the whole town is celebrating with me, and that makes it even better! 😁 Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend ahead! 😀

      • My birthday falls on Pearl Harbor—nothing to celebrate there. I remember being the one kid in my class in elementary school who would always raise his hand when the teacher asked, “Who knows why today is important?”

    • Thanks, Jackie! (Nice to see you here.) I had a very quiet day, relaxing and reading, and had a nice, long Zoom chat with my daughter and grandkids. Mark’s home for a 3-day weekend, and we’re going to go out later for lunch and some plant shopping (my request). Works for me! I needed some down time! 😀

Thanks so much for stopping by and I’m still sad you can’t make it to the tea next Saturday! I’ll be doing a Fall Meet the Author “Lunch” (less fancy, but just as tasty and as much fun) at the Enterprise Museum. Mark the date: October 8. Sure would love to have you join us! 🤗💖
