#MondayMeme – #MondayBlog – #amwriting

Slowly creeping my way back into the blogging world, though I can’t promise anything regular yet, except for the Ten Things series, which was scheduled clear into December before I got sick. But I figured I could muster up the energy to share a few writing and reading related memes with you today. Hope you find one or two you enjoy. 🤗

And there you have it for this Monday.
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Loved these – even if the Indie one smarted a bit! Every time I hear If You Read Only One Book This Year I’ll automatically be finishing it with that gem of a line here. Good to hear you’re feeling a bit better – but don’t tire yourself out trying to do too much yet. ❤ ❤

    • So glad you enjoyed them, Trish. And I agree on the Only One Book meme, for sure. That line is used so often in promoting new releases, and I’ll never look at it the same way again! 😀 And while I do feel somewhat better, I’m still not up to par, so I will be VERY careful not to overdo. If I tire myself out too much, it might set me back, and I do NOT want to go backwards with this virus, believe me! 😲

Thanks so much for stopping by this morning, my friend! 🤗 ❤

    • So glad you enjoyed the selection, Olga, and that it brightened your Monday! That’s music to my ears! And I can’t promise, but I am trying to pick up the pace a little bit, as I can. It will likely be slow going for a bit yet, but I’m working on it. Thanks so much for stopping by and giving me such a nice welcome. 😊 ❤

    • Thank you, Annika, and easing is just how I’m going to do this. I do NOT want any setbacks. (The progress forward is slow enough.) I’m so glad you enjoyed these, and I have to admit, the Righting Rules is my favorite, too. SO clever!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! 😀 ❤

    • Easing is right, Staci. It’s still pretty slow going around here, but improving bit by bit, so I’m not going to complain. Too much. 😀 Glad you enjoyed these today, and thanks so much for stopping by to let me know. 😀 ❤

    • I really love that last one, too, Mae. It makes me laugh every single time I read it. Thanks for welcoming me back, but be prepared for gaps here and there. I’m not going to push myself too hard, lest I end up going backwards again, and I do NOT want that! But hopefully, I can show up more often than I have over the last four weeks. (And you can count on every other Wednesday’s Ten Things list clear into December, so I’m happy I scheduled those before COVID showed up around here. 😀 )

BTW, I made the mistake of looking at the reviews for Bloodless, and the whole first page was 1 and 2 star reviews about how the series had “jumped the shark.” Some die-hard fans hated it enough to really trash it. 😱😨 Now I’m scared. I do not want ANYTHING to tarnish my feelings about A.X.L. who has been one of my very favorite characters of all time through 19 books. Is it just that the plot is very different, do you think? Is Pendergast still the A.X.L. we know and love??

    • You’re very welcome, Sue. I’m so glad you enjoyed them. And I’m still taking those baby steps, but they are all (so far) in the RIGHT direction! YAY!! Thanks for your support and encouragement! 🤗 ❤

    • 😁 Sounds like Orders from Headquarters to me, Sue. I promise I’ll do my best to keep on inching my way back to good health. Or at least to health as good as it was before COVID came along. 😉 And I’m glad you enjoyed today’s funnies. Thanks so much for taking the time to let me know! 🤗 ❤

    • Glad you enjoyed them, Teri, and thanks for the well wishes. Baby steps going on down here, but at least they are in the right direction. I’d love to be able to put this behind me and leave the house once in a while. (Been going through this over four weeks now, and I’m really tired of it.) BUT, I’m very grateful that we had the vaccines and that I’m able to convalesce at home, so I’m trying not to complain. (Too much.) 😁

Thanks for stopping by today and letting me know you got some laughs! 🤗 ❤

    • Thanks, Joan. I’m working on it, though it’s slow going, I’m afraid. Still, I’ll get there! And so glad you enjoyed these. Great to know they were the late-day pick-up you needed! Thanks for stopping by! 🤗 ❤
