Thought I’d share a quick smile or two while I’m still vertical, and before I hit the Comfy Chair for a couple of hours.Β Hoping to be back “full tilt boogie” soon, but until then, gonna keep on looking for laughs wherever I can find them. Enjoy! π
And last, one I think we can ALL identify with!Β
And that’s it for today, folks.Β Hope they brightened your day a wee bit.
Love this! Take care and get well soon, Marcia!

Thanks for the laugh Marcia! The school scene reminds me of a time I was teaching maths to 16 to 19 year olds and had an inspector in. I looked at the blank faces and said ‘I think I’ve just spoken Chinese.’ Now I realise that it wasn’t very politically correct, but I probably had about 6 nationalities in the class, of which Chinese wasn’t one of them!

Glad you enjoyed these, Diana, and could relate to that one. (I’ll bet you even had a few head tilts, too! π ) Thanks for stopping by!

I certainly did and it eased the tension. In fact the inspector popped out for a few minutes and one lovely student said ‘chill out miss!’

The dogs with their tilting heads is wonderful – as is the one of the cavemen. Loved these, Marcia. Look after yourself. β€ β€

So glad you enjoyed them, Trish. And I’m trying very hard to not overdo on anything, and to follow my doctor’s R&R advice: Rest and Rehydration. π Since Mark is in much better health than I to begin with, I don’t know whether the antibody infusion really made a big difference for him or not, but either way, it’s too late for me to get it. Has to be within the first ten days of symptoms, and BEFORE they increase in severity. Happily, mine aren’t increasing, and I’m HOPING another week see them disappear. Oddly, I’m now only experiencing one at a time most days. (It’s a guessing game each morning as to which one it will be.) π
In the meantime, I’m going to continue being happy I’m here at home and able to do at least a few things in between rest times. π β€
And I love both of those, too. The cavemen one is especially clever, I think. π

LOL! Great selection, Marcia. I totally relate to the first two, as well as the last one. There’s road work nearby on a residential street that started in April and was supposed to last until the end of May but it’s still going 3 months later and I have no idea how much longer it will be.

Glad you enjoyed them, Jeanne! And oh, yes to the Road Work sign. We have roads around here that have been under construction for YEARS. Literally! I can’t remember the last time you could drive on Interstate 4 without having to slow down to a crawl in the single lane that’s been left open. I fully expect it to be that way when my grandkids are grown! GAH!
Thanks for stopping by, and keep smiling! π

OMG, that last one!!! Feels so horribly true of so many roadworks these days.
I loved them all – tilting dog heads in particular – thanks for sharing in your vertical time π

So glad you enjoyed them, Debby, and I’m trying to stay vertical a bit longer each day! π And yes to the road work thingie. OMG. I-4 through downtown Orlando has been under construction since time began, I think. It’s a nightmare, and I’m so glad I don’t have to drive it daily like my husband does.
Love the dog tilt, in particular, and as a person who invests a lot of time with dogs, (bless you!), I figured it would resonate with you. π€ β€
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Loved ’em, Marcia! And I’ve actually been in that yoga pose and had my cat do exactly what that dog is doing. As for the last one—it says it all!! ROTFL!
And I hope when you’re relaxing in that comfy chair you’re enjoying some A.X.L., PenderPal of mine. I’m only at the 33% mark, but am thoroughly engrossed!

I saved the Yoga one for my daughter who is a yoga instructor in Denver, and leads outdoor yoga hikes into the most beautiful areas you ever saw. Glad you got a kick out of it, too. If I were floundering around on the floor trying to do that, MY cats would run for cover. π
And yes to the last one. When the Under Construction sign goes up, you’d best start looking for another way to work, and plan on using it for years and years! ACK!
I’m still finishing the book I was on when the new A.X.L. arrived. (Lately, I fall sleep after reading about three pages of anything! Another sign I’m not back to full speed yet.) But I’m very happy to know you’re engrossed. They are saying it’s very different than earlier books, and I hope that’s in a good way. Scarier, perhaps? But I am definitely starting it the minute I finish the one I’m currently sleeping with. (Hahahaha.) And then, we Penderpals will have us a talk!
Thanks for stopping by today, and so glad you got some laughs. π β€

I lucked out that the release happened on the same day I had just finished a book, so I could dive right in. Even though, I’m only 45% now. I’m finding it hard to find time to read lately, and last night I couldn’t keep my eyes open when I did have the time.
If you’re falling asleep, you clearly need the rest, so grab it when you can. We’ll definitely compare notes once we both finish with Bloodless!

Sounds like a Plan to me! Will let you know as soon as I finish it, and looking forward to comparing thoughts. π

I hope that’s “wow” in a great way, and not in a bad one???? I’m planning to start it tomorrow, if I can. Still falling asleep every time I try to read. π (I hear the fatigue is the last thing to go, but I’m not going to complain, since it could be so much worse.)

It’s one of my favorite reads of 2021, but it’s very different.
I hope the fatigue is behind you soon!

Oooh, good to know. As long as Pendergast remains true to himself, I can handle just about anything else. Probably. π
And thanks for the well wishes. Today is the first time in 3+ weeks I haven’t had to take at least two, and often THREE naps during the day! I made it all day long, though I took a lot of short reading breaks, and did a bit of light computer work. Yay! I truly hope I’ve turned a corner, but I’m not going to get too excited just yet. Let’s see if we can make it two in a row, first. π β€

Glad you enjoyed them, John. I’m trying to get back into the swing of blogging again, especially my regular features, but it’s probably going to be spotty for a while yet, since nothing has changed (for better or worse) in 3 weeks now! π I’m telling myself that as long as it’s no worse, it’s all good. Mostly. Sort of. π And I’m thinking I just have to learn how to pace myself so I can get back to doing what I want. (The Comfy Chair gets boring after a while. π)
Laughter is always a good place to start. It makes everything better, for sure!

So much fun, Marcia. I hope you had a wonderful rest. At our stage in life, we all need an afternoon snooze. π€

Some of us are needing a mid-morning snooze and a post-lunch snooze, too, Gwen, but hey! I’m learning to cram as much as possible into those awake periods! After 3 weeks of this stuff, I’ve decided I just have to learn how to live with it, since it doesn’t seem to be ready to depart yet, and I figure it’s always worth making some time for laughter, right?
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I’m glad you got some fun out of these! π β€

Hahahaha. My dachsies used to do that, too, Pete. And for the same reasons. π I miss those boys, for sure, but don’t plan on another dog at this point. Cats are easier. π Thanks for stopping by today, and I hope you got a laugh or two to take away with you. π

You’re very welcome, Staci, and the Comfy Chair makes me feel like I’m not really wasting half my days napping, even though the book I’m supposed to be reading is usually laying on my lap, as unopened as my eyes! π Thanks for stopping by! π€

I think the head tilt meme is my favorite. Hope you’re improving every day, Marcia. Thanks for the giggles!

Glad you enjoyed these, Sue, and I love the head tilt, too. π Can’t say as I’m improving yet, but I’m not getting any worse, either, so that’s a good thing. Yesterday was 3 weeks with the symptoms, and I’m really hoping they do go away soon, but if not, I’ll deal with them until they do. (Not like I have a choice, right? πππ ) Either way, I’m gonna keep smiling and choose to focus on what I CAN do right now, rather than on what I can’t. Thanks so much for stopping by and please stay well! β€

Workin’ on it, Diana. Had a less than stellar day Saturday, but yesterday was improved and today is even more so. I almost feel normal except for the exhaustion, so maybe things are beginning to move in the right direction. (Dare I hope?) I’m pretty tired (and bored) with all this lying about, accomplishing nothing.
Glad you enjoyed the memes! I loved the bikini mask, too. Thanks so much for stopping by, and hopefully my next update will be a giant step forward. π β€
